Iv never seen a group of people cry so much about nerfs and grinding. Last time a checked this was supposed to be an mmo? If you guys think this is bad please don't play wow or any real mmo.

I have played real mmos... this is not a mmo. Far from it...
-
They tried to make it "like an mmo"
-
Bungie themselves have stated this is not an MMO.
-
I'll call this game MMO once they put a trading system on it but as for now it is not MMO hahaha
-
I'll call this game a game when its out from beta testing.

Battlefield 4 is more of a mmo than destiny. 16 people tower, 6 man team, 6 man crucible...not exactly a mmo
-
BF4 -blam!- no that's not a mmo slap yo self
-
A mmo is more than 16 people in one area, and more than 6 to 12 for a match. Destiny is no where near being a mmo.
-
I know but still BF4 really
-
64 players..the tower on destiny is pretty much the lobby. Even one team on bf4 is more than can be supported on destiny. But destiny still geeat game dont get me wrong.
-
But rue saying BF4 is a mmo
-
I agree, if the same people that currently playing Destiny were to play any MMO, the whole forum would be filled with "Nerf this", "Nerf that".
-
Destiny isn't an MMO... It's a mash up between borderlands and halo... How many times do the devs have to say it is not an MMO for people to understand that?
-
But they did say they wanted a MMO feel (loot raids strikes) which they hit those spot on. Bungie said they wanted to redefine how we see games that they don't need to be held by chains (aka genre labels) they wanted to take great things that seemed well together and put them in this game. The biggest issue is just the people whining they don't have time and that they always want constant nerfs over things that aren't issues. Destiny did what they wanted but it's a lot of the community crying because not everybody can be good at it (cod bf4 halo) pretty much destiny is unlike any shooter with crutches.

Exactly, NOT AN MMO. It has elements of one, but is still a RPG-FPS. I still don't understand how anyone can think a 6 player co-op is a MMO. Or a 12 person PvP.

Well like I said man (or tried to, I may of miss spelled it to explain my opinion) it has the elements. In MMO games "strikes" or what other MMO's call theirs usually have between 4-6 people while raids in other MMO's usually have 6-12 people. I agree it's retarded when people call this an MMO but it has it features. Like I said bungie wanted this game to make a statement with this game that genres don't need to define what a game is/should be.
