Had a teammate get this in Nightfall today, while I got a crappy arc damage rocket launcher that I would have loved to have during Nightfall, since I have no Arc heavies, but now it's just useless

I have it and while it's a cool looking gun I mostly stick to PvE and there's generally better weapons to use so it sits in my vault, so when Xur finally does sell it and the threads upon threads of people wanting it nerfed solely thinking about how it'll effect PvP I wont mind because the gun's bad in PvE already.

1 RespuestaI already got LW from the nightfall a couple weeks ago, although i really wouldn't care though if he sold it, its quite good. I would rather have him sell icebreaker or gjallthorn, two of the best exotics that seem to elude me.

The problem I see with the whole "earning" dilemma is that you have pretty similar chances of getting exotics from that engram the lvl 2 dreg dropped, and that raid chest/loot drop which took a while to get to. Which ends up giving the feeling that neither getting it from a drop or xur is truly "earning" it. IMO exotics/legendary engrams should appear more often but only from certain activities (nightfall, lvl 26 and above heroic strike/daily, raid, a higher lvl strike playlist), and xur should only have a limited amount of different exotics he can sell.

1 RespuestaI'm all for buying gear from Xur, aside from my red death and plan c, all of of my exotics are bought (i used to have bad juju and pocket infinity but broke them down for parts). That being said although i approve of Xur, having him sell every exotic would be kind of lame. I'm not one of those people that cries about "Xurners vs Earners" I'm quite the opposite, but i think Xur is best suited to provide "some" exotic gear just so we can all get something regardless of having bad luck with drops and rewards. If he sells everything then it kind of takes away from the overall experience of the game.

4 RespuestasHopefully we do not get a Threepeat of the Suros or the Red Death.. That means the only other options in his droptable are: The Last Word Hardlight MIDA Multitool. And quite honestly? Two of those are the only Exotics I have been wanting since I saw them on the database after the Beta ended.
