I have seen a lot of controversy about this topic so i want so see really how many people Speedrun through strikes, and how many dont. I personally speedrun through strikes. I want to get the most strikes done and the most rewards in the quickest amount of time. That means running past the level 10 enemies that i dont have to kill and just going for the guys i do have to kill. If you really do want to sit back and kill EVERYTHING and waste your time, sure go ahead. But you are just holding the team back and making it longer until YOU and me get our rewards that we did the strike for. If you want to stroll around and kill weak enemies, go to patrol.

I really wish that everyone would speed run when theyre doing tiger strikes. Theres no point in fighting enemies that you can just run past

6 RespuestasIf someone is just hanging back, I'm the kind of -blam- that will go into a darkness zone and kill myself so they spawn next to me...
-
I speed run though everything, darkness zone or not. Unless there is a "Kill/Defend X" forcing me to stay in an area, I speed right past it
-
Some people like to speed through them all. Me personally, I like to kill them all, take no prisoners and leave none standing, as I plunge my light into them.
-
Depends, during nightfall and weekly I like to speed through everything that's not a darkness zone
-
When my friends do, yes. When I'm in pugs only through the first part of Devils Lair.
-
I speed run and kill all of the mobs. I'm after engrams per hour, not legendaries/exotics per hour. Look at my last like 20 or so strikes - I average 100-130 kills a game. Mentioning of the subject - I'm looking for some fellow speed runners on Xbox 360. I don't mind AFK'ers and slow people - I usually clear in 10 minutes or less regardless of group participation. But it would be awesome to slash like a minute off of each strike every time with a skilled team. GT: G R A V O C P.S. - Titans have the best mob control abilities. So that's why you notice a lot of speed runners use Titans. A well placed Aftermath clears an entire enemy spawn while you focus fire on another spawn. Well placed lighting grenades are basically aftermaths as well. Plus Catapult makes Titans the fastest characters in the game (spam click catapult jump 4 times as fast as possible).

I speed run, by killing everything as fast as possible. Expect Mars strike, get that crap over with asap.
-
Im ok with a speed run as long as no one is getting left behind. Its the AFK'ers that piss me off.

1 Respuesta3rd option: Fireteam Dependent For myself I really have no issue with speedrunning through strikes. That said, if I end up on a fireteam where they want to fight the baddies all the way, I will too. No biggie to me either way really.
-
3rd Option If others want to, I will
-
Not really. I might speed through the patrol area to get to the strike area, but I don't speed through any part of the strike because that's where all he engrams drop.
-
Need a third option. I just "go with the flow". I don't mind, either way. I prefer to take my time, but I do not have to. Speed runs remind me of Warp Pipes in Super Mario. I'll go that way if I have limited time, but I do not feel obligated to do it.
-
Depends on the situation. If I'm soloing one, then yes as I'd rather get them done quickly enough and I just wanna get to the final boss as they will take long enough on my own as it is!
-
Depends on the strike. I can easily speed rush the nexus and phogoth, but not that sepiks and valus
-
it depends. if i have to do a bunch of strikes, then i usually try to rush through them. if im just doing strikes for fun i take my time.
-
Both. It depends on what the rest of the fireteam is doing. I do however hate when one guy rushes ahead and the other guy keeps dieing trying to keep up. When this happens I will hang back and try to help the poor guy catch up.
-
When I'm with friends: yes. If the randoms I play with take their time, so will I
-
I don't mind either way, it's the other guy's strike too, play it your way & I'll play mine. As long as I get a wave & a dance at the end then happy days.
-
Not always but when im looking to get to other activities or on bad juju 25 strikes yeah
-
Depends If I am leveling weapons or gear No If peeps are hanging back No If everyone rushes Yes
-
You get a lot more engram's not running through the whole thing. Sure, -blam!- the patrol area parts, but kill everything else. Although its always fun when a speed runner goes ahead of everyone and dies.
-
I've seen many fools die trying to rush ahead. I'll kill everything and get more engrams and level up my gear while you wait for respawn. Kthanxbai

Editado por Elazul: 11/6/2014 10:47:30 PMI've done both and what I found was that killing everything vs doing speed runs grants you more loot. This is because each enemy has a chance to drop the engrams. I usually get 2 - 5 blues each Tiger Strike just from killing things so that isn't including the rewards. Every once and I while I see a Legendary drop as well. All these blues then rank up my Cryptarch quite quickly which gives me further chances for Legendary and Exotics from the reward from leveling that up on top of it.
-
Only reason i don't is because of RNG. about 70% of all my legendary engrams came from dregs / thralls / acolytes.
-
25 RespuestasSee there's a difference in getting two blues at the end and getting 5-7 (that's what I average) per strike. If you want rep and marks, go to patrol.
