Best put on your best shader and hope to the Traveller that the Last Word chooses you to spend its hard earned coins on :)

6 RespuestasI dont get this I have it so no one else should mentality. The only truly earned items in this game is the raid gear. Everything else is RNG randomness. If anything the people who are buying exotics are also earning them. Think of it this way. You are grinding strikes for engrams and doing the weekly heroic strike with all three of your guardians to get those coins, while someone else is getting a Last Word at random through PVP, PVE, and decoding engrams. How does RNG give you a sense of "Oh I earned this!". Thats like saying people who win the lottery have earned it. No they just got lucky. Which is exactly how it feels when you see a exotic pop up as a reward for anything other than the hard raid.

10 RespuestasI see your point and I agree with you. But on the other hand it makes me wonder if anything is worth the grind if there is a possibility that we could just buy the items.. This game makes it harder for me to understand it. Xur should be selling unique exotic items in a variety and not items I had to grind for weeks for, only for another guy that happens to gather enough strange coins to just walk to the store and pick it up. I may sound selfish but what do you guys think?

2 RespuestasThere are only 2 guns in this game that will always be "rare" and those 2 guns are the Hawkmoon and the Monte Carlo. This is because Xur cannot sell any Playstation Exclusives which means there won't be a day where everyone can buy it and make the people who GRINDED THEIR A**ES OFF pissed off. I myself only own the Monte Carlo obtained via the Weekly Nightfall Strike.

Xur sold a special weapon last weekend and the weekend before that he sold a primary. This weekend he will sell a heavy weapon. Next weekend he will sell a primary and the week after that... You guessed it a special. Now don't ever ask if he will sell a primary weapon when it's the heavy weapons week. Thanks.

6 Respuestas...and this where this game failed. If every gun is avaible to everyone....whats the point of this game? It's not well made enough to be a hardcore (or even medium core) fps. You should play Cod...all those guns are available to everyone...and its 1 bjillion times the game than Destiny will ever be; in every conceivable way. Graphics...sound...gameplay...design..story....loadtimes.....everything.

Yes you may have grinded your ass off to acquire the desired exotic item, but not all of us have that luck when it comes to random loot drops. I myself have done nothing but grind the Tiger Strike playlist for almost two whole days now in order to get The Last Word handcannon. I've seen it rewarded to others twice within that time, but I am yet to have it. This is why we have Xur. He is there for those of us who haven’t been granted the gift of good luck in RNG. Does it really matter if you come across more people with a weapon you have? And if your reasoning behind your argument is that you want your exotic to stay “rare” then that’s just straight up pathetic and selfish. Stop taking the game so seriously and enjoy it.
