Actually, it is the same jumping stones.
If you go through the first three that you are used to, there is one that splits off to the left and continues spawning more that go by the vex gate, then to the Vault of Glass

I'll look again this evening, but it always seemed to me the first 5 or 6 make a sort of downward spiral staircase to the opposite side with the other set being a good distance away. If you can spawn them all just by jumping on each one, then I'd say your probably correct, but now your talking about, like, 10 consecutive jumps just to get right to the front door. That in itself seems odd and unnecessary considering you can make the jump without touching any...
