There is nothing worse then getting into a slow strike group. Every tiger strike should be a speed run because they only rewards you actually get come at the very end. With that being said, DON'T ATTACK ENEMIES THAT ARN'T IN A DARKNESS ZONE, just simply get on your sparrow and head to the next section.
This will cut your tiger strikes in half and make it much easier to get your emblems and experience after completion.
Bump so people learn
Edit1: I added the correct you're in the title so people would look past it and actually read my post
Edit 2: I'm sorry but I can't "enjoy" something I have already done 50 times over.
Edit 3: Speed runs are in my blood so you probably won't change my opinion. When I was a tank in WoW I would continuously pull groups of mobs and barely give the healer anytime to drink unless he was completely oom. I realized in each instance I did that if the healer was good he would love me as a tank and be able to keep up and every bad healer would usually just yell "SLOW DOWN -blam!- YOU SUCK" then proceed to leave. So if your comment to this post relates in anyway to how a bad healer would respond, I simply ignore it as I did back then.

3 RespuestasI will not speed up to accommodate your rush to the next door, terminal, laser grid, group of servitors inexplicably keeping the upstairs door shut, or whatever have you. The only war I fight is a war of genocidal extermination. Purge the alien, suffer not the xenos to live. These guys did it to the human race, now its their turn to bend over the barrel. I would think in an FPS you would want to stop for a second and actually shoot something.

If it's my first of a playlist I will kill some early enemies just to get some special n heavy ammo.
-
Every legendary drop I got was from low level enemies standing in my way while heading a strike start point. Not gonna waste time with all of em, just the ones in my way.
-
Sooo by rushing through and killing as little as possible just to finish it, you pass up: 1. Chances for more engrams to drop 2. More opportunities for glimmer gathering if you use the appropriate item 3. XP for leveling armor and weapons via kills Sounds to me like you're pissed because you just wanted to get as many engrams at the end of the run as possible just to level your Cryptarch rank instead of the chance of getting even more by killing things. Every run I get a few blue engrams over the course of the strike, if you're that concerned about the rewards, you should probably take the time to make kills.
-
I go with the flow. I prefer to fly through the non-darkened areas. But if the other people want to stop and waste ammo, I'll stop and pop a few tango heads with them. I think this is often people trying to get the most kills. But I prefer to not waste time and ammo on the non-darkened areas. You can run through most strikes in 15 minutes or less. No good reason to drag it out twice as long. I have 25 to finish!
-
Another important tip, after you kill the boss and the person starts talking, you can back out and still get all your rewards. Though it might only save you 30 seconds or so, it beats having to listen to the dialogue for the 4000th time.

Editado por iMoonchildi: 12/1/2014 6:06:34 PMjust don't play them anymore you can't tell people how to play at the end of the day everybody is going to do their own thing lol I don't do strikes anymore repetition is a huge pet peeve of mine plus killing everything is the best way to farm engrams in unison with the guaranteed rewards at the end
-
Only thing I stop for is a public event. Nothing short of that will get me to even slow down.

5 RespuestasEditado por InfinityDrags: 12/1/2014 5:10:33 PMWell I fully agree, tho I find there is nothing to gain from tiger strikes after lvl 26. Maybe the vanguard dragon will offer us a bigger variety of rewards.

2 RespuestasI played my fair share of WoW and I've also rolled tank and even healer. The thing is yes in WoW speed runs were great but you also killed most every trash mob in the instance to reach the boss anyway. This mentality doesn't rationalize your choice to speed run strikes because the trash mobs in here are just being passed, leading to lost loot and glimmer. Basically you're wasting more item rolls than you're earning in the end of the strike. Besides by now everyone's got good weapons and knows the strikes by heart and can swiftly liquefy targets outside of the darkness zone. So do yourself and everyone else a favor, slow down and get that loot.

Speed run all day. After 200+ strikes I can't stand to take more than 10 mins on a strike.
-
I used to , but one night on Venus while fighting 3 servitors , I needed ammo , I ran back into the Ishtar commons, as I remembered there was heavy ammo I couldn't pick up there , when I got back, there was a purple engram that dropped from from an enemy killed by some other guardians on patrol , so now I kill everything after using the appropriate consumable
-
3 RespuestasHmmm not true, on the summoning pit strike, you know those 3 knights before ascending into the hive compound? Well one of them dropped a legendary engram for me like last weekend. Clear out everything fellow guardians.
-
I'm all about speed runs but I seem to get more drops from enemy's in the tiger list, there are pros and cons
-
I'll go either way, to a point. Killing stuff that's *on the way* is no problem, but it seems silly to clear entire maps as you go. Killing stuff you can't run past is fine. The first couple big rooms on the Valus Ta'aurc strike for example, not everyone can skip those rooms. I can as a bladedancer stealth my way through, others dodge well, some just can't and I'll slow down to help them through. My philosophy is to go as fast as you can *as a team*. When I'm on a team, I will take this opportunity to point out this is part of why I like to solo.

2 RespuestasI started a tiger earlier on moon second low level at the entrance bam legendary engram and I picked up 3 more blues along the way. So ya your an idiot kill all the enemies on the way the strikes all take at most between 10 and 20 mins. Killing all enemies along the way.
-
5 RespuestasI hate it when i run into an idiot rushers like you. Some people want to enjoy the game xp/farm/just kill. Even with killing, the strike goes fairly quick. Get a bunch of rushers and run strike.... Stop being an idiot.

Please ignore this OP and their advice as it is almost a month old (check the date) and the OP is shit at strikes (check his strike record). Typical strike-rusher,all mouth and no skill. : )

These guys killing everything remind me of a swat team stopping to give jaywalkers tickets before bashing down a door.
-
1 Respuestawhaaa whaaa.... mommy, people aren't playing the way I want them to play!!! whaaa whaaaa!!!
-
I enjoy destiny to slay Fallen, Hive, Vex and Cabal. If I see one. Better believe I'm going for them.
-
I like to sit back and kill the guys for ammo. Don't tell me what to do
-
I think the only issue here is that sometimes people speed ahead from other teammates and sometimes get past mobs like Centurions and the like that have been killed by someone else in a non-darkness zone, and when running behind, these mobs may have respawn and require some time to get past (putting them back further). This has happened to me on multiple occasions. Some people also take their speeders as far as they can go, at the risk of running through mobs that could kill them. That isn't something that I always want to follow. Generally, I keep-up with the speed strikes, but I also recognize that there are different styles of gameplay. Your style isn't necessarily more "right" than anyone else's. It's just a matter of whether or not everyone in the group is on the same wavelength and can adapt to one another's style of play.
-
1 RespuestaYou are 100% correct. If you are killing mobs outside of the darkness then go farm on patrol. Speed runs are apart of gaming especial endgame. I mean what else are you gearing up for other than to move more quickly through the content you have been running since pre20.....?
