These "RUSH-TARDS" are spoiling what little there is of strikes. They race through sections of strikes killing little or nothing, just to get to the end in record time. They don't pick up ammo, they aren't looking for engrams, so..... Why ?? What's the point ?? It just ruins the gameplay. Teamwork & tactics go out the window. Dying's not an option, unless you're Jesus. And that f-ing screen that says "the darkness has consumed you" REALLY p#sses me off - when i'm just playing the game at a normal pace. Surely this doesn't fit Bungie's "vision" of the game ?? Need help here Deej.

How I look at it... A tiger strike rep reward is roughly equivalent to three non vip kill patrol missions with the nightfall xp bonus (31 or 32 depending on rounding vs 36 for patrols). To make the strike worth the time for the rep, it should not take much longer to complete than those three patrol missions.
-
The strikes are boring, usually long, and most players have done each one 25+ times. You're an idiot if you think they're doing anything wrong by trying to get through the grind as easily as possible.
-
Like I said in previous topics, bungie needs to find a reason in future strikes to work as a team, when people are higher lvls and when matchmaking doesn't actually match you with players in your lvl range it sucks because you can't speed run with them, higher lvl players doing low level strikes don't need your help, because doing a lvl 22 strike is faster to go through then lvl 24 because when I do them we all fail because we think we can speed the strike at the exact same lvl but you can't when low lvl can enter them Its not about killing low lvl mobs or rush the strike the real complaint is strikes have no reason to let other players work together when they are OP
-
Thats just plain stupid >_> Why waste time in killing extremely easy and pointless enemies? There is no strategy in any of that :U Only reason strikes are worth doing are some boss fights and endgame rewards. If u want to feel "bad@ss" killing dumb ai.....knock urself out in patrol

Can't win with this community lol. Some complain about AFK'ers for not moving at all, and others complain about "rush tards." Goldie-Locks syndrome.
-
Rush tards? I love them. They are a million times better then those who go AFK during the strike and dont help in any way or form.
-
Personally, I'd rather not spend half an hour on one strike, especially if I've done said strike 100+ times. I hate playing with people who want to kill every single enemy, in hopes that they'll get a couple more blue engrams, and that one in a thousand chance of getting a purple. You're wasting your time, and the others who you are matched with.
-
Give it a rest...this is a useless topic
-
Quit playing with or joining pugs. I play with friends, so I don't deal with that. Good luck with that.

Be effective, be adaptable, look at the big picture. Cheers

This has to be the most disgusting post I've seen yet.

If you cant keep up then go to orbit. I usually solo strikes, and having two scrubs with me just slows me down.

The point is to get to the end and get the activity rewards as fast as possible...I dunno about you but the better I get at a particular strike the faster I'm gonna go...it's a sort of skill progression if you wanna look at it that way...sure, I took the time to make sure I got ALL the trash mobs and crap loot that I came across my first 10 times through the strike...but after a while I'd rather complete two strikes before you get done with the one.

1 RespuestaI run strikes pretty quick because exotic bounties... But when I do, I never go full rushtard.

115 RespuestasEditado por TheEnigmaShew: 11/5/2014 6:12:46 PMJust a brief look through the comments confirms that this game suffers from the biggest two cancers in the game. Those that wrote it didn't make it interesting enough to engage people for very long. And the people playing are selfish and inconsiderate of their fellow guardians. Rushing through a Strike is proof that you don't care that the person doing the legitimate strike gets killed or swarmed by the minions of darkness you so casually blew past and are now on alert. And for what the RNG at the end of the mission? There are far more engrams that drop should you do your job and work together. More engrams means higher chance of better gear. I can show you a video of myself turning in 12 to 15 legendary engrams and a exotic all that dropped or were in the RNG in a hour and a half of doing the strikes the right way. So you are on a Exotic bounty where you need so many strikes, Why are you wasting your time by rushing through them. You are bound to get much better gear or to level your Cryptarc up to a really high level by getting those engrams that are no longer available by loot cave farming. Face it you are just as bad as a AFK if you rush. The only way you can justify rushing is if you are with your friends who are all rushing as well. If your not with just your friends, then you need to do the right thing and do the strike the way it was intended. This is about your honor. If you end up in a strike with me, I will report you for being unhelpful. Have doubts about that realize I am 46 been a gamer for a very long time. I am not casual about my gaming, As a disabled Veteran I only play video games, something in the neighborhood of 8 to 10 hours a day. I run a few websites about gaming, a few clans dedicated to various games and the one common mission in my sites and clans is cleaning the gaming world of gamers without honor. Race in Forza and like to wreck your way to the lead find yourself racing guys just like yourself because I and my friends have no problem using our keyboards to report you. Like to rubberband your controller and spin at the start. Taking advantage of the RNG ditto reported as well. Plus I don't just report in game I report to PSN and XBL as well. Don't like that then I suggest you clean up your act. And bring honor back to your gaming. They need to nerf the people who constantly suggest asinine things. If you think Bungie will waste time trying to cater to your specific taste, you're wrong.
-
Just so you know, the word retard means slow, and rush means fast.... so you mean the quick slow people?
-
So you want some of us to waste ammo and melees on lvl6s that are just in the way instead of going around them and heading to the area where enemies will actually be the level of the strike?
-
That's because at lvl 29 I'm not interested in ammo or kills, I'm interested in the rep for the completion and bounty... I've done 10000 s of them... When your at the same level you will get it... It's actually pretty cool when you get 3 raiders on the same mindset and I would love a timer for these with exotics for top ten tiles in the week etc
-
Remember friends, always report rushtards for being unfriendly and unhelpful
-
They get reputation and (if it's a level 24 vanguard strike) a guaranteed engram. Some people just want to complete things as fast as possible
