Changed post due to it being very old and irrelevant, but somehow keeps coming back up every few months. And because of a realization there are a staggering amount of people who cannot read past 5 words.

It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't take 8 minutes to get a new fire team member right as we are about to drop a boss. At least in pvp if someone leaves their place is filled
-
1 RespuestaUr 3 character are high enough to solo them. U shouldn't have problems with them
-
-
I wanted to complain about the same thing today as I was just trying to get a quick 20 marks to get vanguard armor for my warlock. 4 strikes should have been <1hour, instead, I ended up doing them all solo in twice the time. I was so pissed. Then, just to make me a hypocrite, I was pulled into a raid while starting Valus Ta'aric on Vangaurd Tiger.
-
I don't repeat strikes. It bugs me so I'm not doing it. I leave if I get the same strike I just played
-
I hate Psion Flayers.
-
1 RespuestaSorry the game gives me the same strike four times in a row
-
It's probably because that will be the third time they have done that one in a row. If that happens I will leave. They need to fix that because the stupid psions 3 times in a row makes me crazy.
-
awww you caught me :(

1 RespuestaThe strike advancement timer is too quick. That's really not a a consumer issue not is it related to being an asshole. You play a 35 min strike - check your loot - take a sip of water and it is loading the next strike with you or without you. Unfortunately sometimes you get advanced to the next strike and have to quit. I've had the game server patch in plenty of replacements. Hasn't been a big deal for me but I could see how it gets frustrating. Also: some people cannot stand certain strikes like the archon priest. I don't mind it but others think it is too hard and quit. It happens.
-
Pull out your ghost and try again if everyone quits. You'll eventually find some speed runners who will get to the end as fast as possible. This is only going to get worse.
-
If I'm in tiger and I have a 22-23 and its some shit like Phogoth, in out as soon as I'm in. Why should I stress having to revive and carry them when the object of a game is to have fun.
-
Only time i have left a strike is due to connection issues, other than that even if i know im not doing so great i wont leave (although maybe i should tbh), the only bounties i do in strikes are the actual strike bounties themselves, the rest i do on patrol, i go into a strike to do the strike not hamper my team with bounties easily done on patrol solo, to me that is just plain ignorant
-
I had two members take their ghosts out and leave after we dropped in. To their credit, I jetted shortly after as well since the random strike playlist gave us the same Venus strike three times in a row.
-
I actually got the trophy for completing a strike with nobody on your team dying simply because the other two people left almost as soon as it began. I didn't have to worry about anybody else and was able to progress as slowly and meticulously as I wanted.
-
yeah happened once to me as two clan members joined my strike and then because they died a few times decided to quit on me, doesnt matter which strikes im on as always go till the end

58 RespuestasEditado por IamPluto: 9/17/2014 1:23:49 AMWell I don't like the Hell Mouth, so I refuse to play that. Other than that I don't leave at the beginning. I will leave if my team doesn't go straight for the objectives and kill enemies at the beginning. There is no reason to farm there. If you want to farm, do it with a full team or inform me. I will also leave if we die after almost defeating the boss. These Strikes are more tedious than hard and restarting because of a mistake is annoying AF. Edit : Apparently people are thinking I leave after the first attempt. No I do not leave after the first attempt. I try it a few times, depending on the skill of the other players. I don't play to carry people. If we fail 3-4 times in a row, I will likely leave. IF YOU ARE THE LAST ALIVE. DON'T SUICIDE RUN TO REVIVE A TEAM MATE. WAIT FOR ONE OF THEM TO REVIVE. KEEP YOURSELF ALIVE AND WAIT FOR THEM TO REVIVE ON THEIR OWN. THERE'S NO NEED TO RISK YOUR LIFE.

stop sucking and maybe they will hang on?

Editado por PrayForPlaguesO: 10/2/2014 1:05:23 AMNot as annoying as solo'ing the entire strike until the final boss is at 1/5th health for 2 guys to join and find a nice spot to press down on their d-pad to sit down while I finish it off. Probably would have been funny the other way around though, good form.
-
Sorry but after going through Dust Palace once and then its the next strike in the list, I'm leaving. Can't stand that strike more than once.
-
i think what would be valuable is a way to vote for the next strike, especially with the new strikes on the horizon in DLC
-
I would stop, but hells layer cake never pops. Gonna finish exotic bounty before kill septics prime bounty...
-
I leave if it gives me the same strike over and over. I'm sorry but I don't want to play the same strike 3 times in a row, let alone twice in a row. If that were to stop a lot of ppl would probably stop leaving.
-
I left a strike on purpose once and it was because one of the players was harassing me during the strike and even caused me to get killed.
-
It's only going to get worse. If Bungie has any sense they are working on new engrams and a valve they can kick off so they spew everywhere.
-
It would probably be avoided if it wasn't poorly designed. I have left a couple of times because I kept getting the same strike over and over and it was tiresome (the central focus of destiny being to tire players out with repetitiveness). Also, sometimes you want to get a bounty done at the same time as a strike to save time and even more repetitiveness, instead of having to do everything separately. This problem is compounded by the fact that you can only hold 5 bounties at once, so they don't allow you do work on everything at once, wasting a whole lot more time doing stuff that really isn't that enjoyable. Add in the fact that some strikes are easier than others, and the rewards the same (not very good). Add in the fact that the only decent way to get gear is to farm marks since engrams are a joke (legendary ones drop greens), and getting gear otherwise isn't reliable. What do you expect?
