I see your point and I honestly believe that you are right about corporations and how they try to delay things on purpose for reasons of greed but I'd rather take my chances waiting than end up getting a piece of crap that wasn't developed to it's full potential before being released because they were in a hurry.

Really dig your enthusiasm and I can't wait to get my hands on the Destiny when it's ready to ship too. The comment about not upgrading to next gen isnt true for all though. I myself have preordered a ps4, just so I can experience Destiny in all her glory. I did consider cancelling and just sticking on my ps3 but I finished saving for next-gen months ago. The game has so much more potential, if it was exclusive to next-gen. However, I do feel it's quite admirable that Bungie has not only brought their magic to the PS community but ensuring that everyone can experience their next great venture, no matter what console you own.

No. There are many things in game development that you seem to not understand, and I'm not saying this as an insult. The beta has been a massive testing ground, but there are many things in Destiny that you haven't seen yet. You feel the game is ready, but Bungie does not. Partly because it isn't. Bugs found in the beta needs to be squished, balancing based on beta telemetry needs to be done, and they're still working on the places we've played in the beta, places we haven't seen, and have voice recording sessions to do and more gear and items to put into the final game. Preordering anything doesn't entitle you to anything but the complete game, and you should be exstatic that after working on Destiny for five years, Bungie have no intention of rushing the final stretch, but are absolutely intent on delivering the most polished and complete game experience they can. When games are delayed, it's because the developers need or want more time to make the game what they want it to be, for the benefit of us who are about to play it. Lots of stuff happen during development, and actually setting a date a good time into the future can be a massive risk. I'm not saying that you should be grateful for everything you get, but these guys have been making video games for two decades, and might have a little more experience about when they should or should not release their own game.

if they delay the game im going to be sad upset but you know what they are taking the time to fix it and not be like battlefield 4 that release it when it was not ready i say take your time bungie if it get push back it gets push back but it would be a better game and i cant wait to play again so i can become legend

Well I really dig the pvp mode I'm not good at it I get killed like every 10 seconds lmao but it sucks on the moon people just want to ride the sparrows that shoot lasers and sit in the gun turrets and I'm running around trying to capture flags like an idiot lol, but hey I die a lot but I do it with dignity lmao, the other day I was some how sent into a match by myself against 6 and I died about 50 times I was hunted like a lost wallet with 500 bucks in it, I could have just logged out but what heck if you give up why bother to play?

Brink released early and we all know what a disaster that turned out to be.

it was a little to laggy to me

Your never going to be happy until games are created the second they are thought of. Your always going to have to wait for things in life. And just because something looks ready doesn't mean it is. Just take poultry for example. Chicken can look fully cooked but is still pink in the middle, leading to salmonella poisoning. What I'm trying to say iis good things are worth waiting for, and if you try to enjoy them to soon you just end up with diarrhea. :[

You can't just make a game come out when you want. You made all these blatant, undoable requests earlier, and the reason they don't have them in the game is because they don't feel its right. I've been waiting for close to 2 years, and do you see me coming onto forums, making idiotic requests of a company that is doing what it feels is best to make us happy with this game? The reason for delayed release dates was that they didnt feel the game was finished. Not all games delay their release dates, in fact, very few do. This happened because Bungie was like, "Hey, I don't think that there's all the stuff we should have in this game in the game at the moment. Lets delay it back so that we can add these things!" And thats ok. Like this guy up there said, you have to wait for things in life. If everything just was there already, would you really want that? No waiting, just getting. That would just be boring. Listen. The game is not ready. They would have released it by now if it was. There were glitches in the beta, and a LOT of stuff that needed fixing. "anybody who's played the beta has to know that." Delaying release dates doesnt get them free money, if anything, it makes them lose it. Just try thinking from a different point of view for once. Calm down. Don't make more requests like this, because they will be ignored.

I mean they will be ignored by the company. How many people do you see ranting about this kind of thing? Very few. Because they know that its useless.

2 Reasons they don't jump release dates: 1) The consoles have to schedule their releases so they can predict revenue for their investors so they can meet expectations. To mess that arbitrarily can potentially actually be an actionable offense by the SEC. It also helps them keep a steadier flow of titles coming out. 2) Further on the investors note, Activision (and perhaps Bungie, if they had some plans to go public) has to meet investor expectations. Rather than blow their Q3 earnings and dump a release at the end of Q2 they keep it status quo. Even though the suits normally fail, you'd be shocked how many idiots try and sue over things like that because they decided to make short or long plays that get messed up by a company CEO doing something that wasn't expected. I agree it would be awesome if the game came out on Tuesday, but there are reasons for not jumping the gun.

Destiny was a project that was started years ago. I'm pretty sure the release date is set-in-stone and the developers are just fine-tuning the game besides fixing bugs hence the impressive beta experience.
