Dear Upset People, I am sorry you are so upset, I truly am. I am a serious gamer - easily 40 hrs / week on top of my fulltime job - and Xbox is my primary console. I am a serious Halo fan - 10,000+ matches across 4 titles and 2 consoles. And I am not even a little bit mad. I played Destiny, on the PS4, during the Alpha. I realized I will never be happy playing a Bungie FPS on a dualshock controller. And I know that this is a matter of personal preference. I would assume that few of you complaining about missing out on platform-exclusive content have actually played the game. Sure, it's always nice to have extra multiplayer boards - but otherwise... seriously, have you not been paying attention? Are you unaware of the scope of this game? If so, let me elucidate you: Destiny is huge. And it will only get bigger. We are talking about drops in a bucket. If Bungie hated Xbox gamers, we'd be looking at a PS4 exclusive title. If they got a whole bucket full, and my bucket was empty, I might be mad. But honestly, from where I'm standing, I can barely see the difference. And if you've ever preordered a game before, you know - the guns you get, on day one, with that code on your receipt or packed in with your disc - sure, it's pretty cool. But more often than not, within hours - sometimes within minutes - you will move on. Something else will catch your eye. You would trade in your exclusive decals and plating for fire and thorns. If you're playing on 360 and mad about PS exclusive content, let me tell you... you're already missing out, by not playing it next-gen. This game feels next-gen, and I am amazed it'll be running quad-platform. I would be grateful it's coming out last-gen at all, in the face of titles like Arkham Knight and AC: Unity. And for those of you complaining on Xbox One, well... it's not like Bungie didn't warn you. Last year, E3 week, 2013 - Jason Jones himself came on and told you, PS4 exclusive content. In closing, even being lucky enough to have a choice of platform - I chose Xbox. I love Bungie, and I know that this game will be amazing, regardless of what platform I'm playing it on. And even though I only played it for 12 hours so far, with an uncomfortable controller (imho), I never want to play anything else. 3 days of Beta is plenty, but I'd love to see it extended. I wish all of you well, and I know the perceived pain of platform exclusivity may linger, but I promise you that it will dissipate, as you assemble your fireteam and go out into the wild. <3 -OD PS: Bungie - if you want to buddy up with ms & frank oconnor, to throw in a mark vi, recon, odst helmet for titan, hunter, warlock respectively... I wouldn't complain.
