My hands are on the larger side, I can easily push any of the buttons without moving my entire hand. PS3 VS 360, or PS4 vs Xbone are the same for me. I enjoy the Xbox Controller more in both. It's just how my hands naturally sit. I started out with the playstation original, so it's not like I'm just someone who started with Xbox and claim it's the best because that's why I'm used to. I've had Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo, Sega, Atari, etc. Best one that fits my hands has always been the xbox. FPS shooters at least. Racing, and others are always different depending on circumstance. But as you said, personal preference. I'm sure Playstation would sell quite a few controllers if they did make one that was like that of the Xbox.
