I don't normally go on the Flood part of these forums, but here I am.
Now, I'm a fan of a German band called Heldmaschine, and they just released their second album, along with the lyrics. However, while most of their songs are in German, one of their songs, Propaganda, is written in a language that I can't identify. I thought at first that it might be Russian, but none of the translation sites I've used has been able to figure out what it is. I'm going to post the lyrics here, so if anyone here is multilingual, please take a look and see if you recognize it.

Edit: What baffles me is the lack of commas and dots(periods). Newer edit: Oh, but I was afk so I haven't tried to solve it.

2 RespuestasGoogle Translate says Indonesian, but only some of the words are translated. I don't think it's Russian, or European at all for that matter.

1 RespuestaEditado por Psy: 4/5/2014 11:53:37 PMIf no translation site can work it out, that would indicate it's not in a western character set. If you type 'Watashi wa' into translate it usually won't pick it up/translate it but if you put '私 は' in then it translates it to 'I'. Watashi wa 私 は Examples ^ It seems to be an indo-european language from the amount of cognates, it's certainly not Japanese, Chinese or Korean. That might help narrow it down but I don't have a specific idea of what he is saying. EDIT: If anyone here knows Russian/Cyrillic could they narrow it down?

6 RespuestasThat's Russian. I can't translate all of it, but I recognise it. The chorus is German. It means "mouth to mouth". I speak great German.

1 RespuestaEditado por Meta Cognition : 4/6/2014 12:04:57 AMTo be honest it seems as if it's a mixture. Per is Italian, and kom is Swedish, and it doesn't even register the other words. And then you have Azerbaijani, Slovak, Turkish, Polish, Portuguese, Maltese or Latvian, Czech and Norwegian. It could be a Slavic language, of course.
