I honestly didn't want to lose faith in microsoft, when the xbox one was first revealed I was in denial of all the DRM restrictions & what not, but I think losing my faith for it was inevitable -_-
I currently have a Xbox 360, do you think connecting an HDMI cable might match the graphs to PS4?(dunb queston ignor it)
I want a PS4 now

1 Respuestagood choice its the more powerful system so it should run destiny better anyways. As for your HDMI cable the low sub HD res will still blur when its upscaled it just delivers a cleaner signal so you can more clearly see the blur lol. The HDMI cable won't add the grass that was removed to make it run better on the 360 or extend the draw distance so grass appears hundreds of yards away instead of a 25 yard ring around your character. It won't Add extra lighting effects and smoke effects on explosions that had to be cut to improve performance. None of that is confirmed mind you just a general idea of the bonuses the PS4 would have over the 360... it won't just be the HD resolution adding detail to everything it will be lots of other things also.

1 RespuestaHow wonderful. If you haven't got a next gen, then great. You can't go wrong. But if you already have an XB1, then why pay hundreds of extra unnecessary dollars for one game?

I know the feels

Get a ps4 dude.

4 RespuestasHow big is your TV? If it's <=45in 720p is more than enough. If it's bigger, 1080p begins to excel. Or, (my personal recommendation) go for the next gen console that you like the best, regardless of graphic capability. The game will look fantastic no matter the console; 360, XB1, PS3, or PS4. Personally, I'll primarily be on the 360 and XB1. Those consoles suit my needs and wants. My wife will be on PS3/4. She prefers the controller and likes the exclusive titles for the PS systems, where as I like the XB offerings better. It's more than the graphics you have to look at for this kind of investment.

Hey buddy, more power to you.

5 RespuestasI am buying one, I am going to shell out for both a PS4 and a Xbone, I really look forward to playing it on both consoles and seeing the differences :)
-
9 RespuestasXbox one is pretty awesome, can't say for sure about the new playstation. Everyone thought the xbone was gonna suck, but I don't have any complaints (aside from that goddamn NAT type)
-
I would hold off personally. There's just not a whole lot to play on it right now.

3 RespuestasDon't get a PS4 if Destiny is the only game you're interested in. Wasn't the Xbox One's day one update supposed to take away those restrictions? I'm a Sony fanboy so I don't really keep up with Microsoft... anything. Even my gaming PC is running Linux. It takes some fiddling to get things working right, but the tiny amount of resources the OS takes up makes it all worth it. :)

5 RespuestasThe simple truth is.......answer the following questions Will you be playing solo style or with a group? If you are going to play solo. The get what you fancy. If you are playing with a group the you need to ask yourself, what are my friends getting. Then go for the majority as it would suck if you get a PS4 and they all get X1's. I went PS4 as i had a PS3, have a vita and 90% of my friends have PS4's and I will be grouping up with them in several games.

I just want Destiny on PC. Oh well Xbox 360 it is.

3 RespuestasEditado por Player 1: 1/8/2014 3:42:25 AMIt's all about what your situation is man. I have a 360 and I've really enjoyed it though the years, Halo 3..., those were the days! But I will be getting a PS4 this summer before the beta release. I'm not interested in all the extra stuff that the One is offering, I just want to play games. My computer already does all that extra stuff and I don't pay for cable, I pay for internet and Neflix only. I have no interest in a Kinect at all and the PS4 is $100 less. Those are my personal reasons for moving back to Sony and they are practical ones. The Xbox One is a good system, there is nothing wrong with it and there is no need for any bashing. This choice is all about personal preference.

I bought a PS4 for Destiny and not an Xbone.

Great choice, bungie has really gotten behind sony with the whole Destiny project. The ps4 just makes the gaming experience that much better.

4 RespuestasEditado por Deft Voltage: 1/9/2014 12:26:18 AMThe graphics are the exact same... Just because it doesn't say 1080p, doesn't mean it doesn't look like 1080p. Ps4 is usually native 1080p and Xbox One is boosted 720p or boosted 900p. No matter what the game is, the graphics between PS4 and Xbox One are identical and you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Both consoles use HDMI cables for graphic input.
-
1 RespuestaTechnically speaking, the game will like run and look the same on both the XB1 and PS4. There won't be much of a difference there. The only difference will lie within what you want. Playstation systems get exclusive stuff like early access to the beta, etc. but at the same time if you have friends on XB1 then play with your friends. I'm getting it for the XB1 myself because that is my preferred system and is where my main buddy for playing Destiny will be. I thought about getting a PS4 for the exclusive stuff, but honestly, its probably just timed exclusive, and I would rather have someone to play with than getting stuff "early". Thats just me though. Ultimately it is up to you, just remember that Destiny will likely look graphically the same on both next-gen systems and will also likely run the same. One version simply gets stuff sooner.

Dude, you should do what feels right. I sold my 360 and got a ps3 after the demonstration of the xone. I'm done with MS, the ps4 is just easily the more attractive console, I say this after playing on Xbox for over 10 years, they just screwed up so badly in my opinion. Do what you want, nobody can decide for you, only give you an opinion.

3 RespuestasI bought a PS4 late Nov for the supposed spring release, and don't regret it even though it got moved back. I suggest it. It's a really cool console, and the free PSN games should tide you over for a while as well. That and Titanfall for your 360

19 RespuestasXbox has 300,000 dedicated servers. Also cloud Can make destiny 1080 p

5 RespuestasI made the switch from 360 to ps4 and I'm glad I did. The destiny exclusives were obviously a factor in my decision but the thing that really made me switch was the controller. In my opinion the xbone controller is a little too tapered and it makes my hands feel a bit squished whereas the ds4 is a little more spread out and just feels better in my hands. I would take my time making my decision if I were you, you don't want to regret your choice later down the road. Read as much as you can about the consoles, look at the exclusives and most of all try to get as much hands on time with the machines as possible. I hope to catch you star side! -Waffle
