I need to get something new because the Android that I have is a piece of flying shit. It overheats, and when it does I type without being able to see what because the letters come in a minute after and if I do so too fast then it tries sending an instant message to either one other person in my contacts or all. And most of the time it blatantly doesn't respond at all, or touches random buttons on its own.
And hell, right now it's barely receiving messages from an hour ago.
But anyway, what should I get, an Iphone, or a Windows Phone.

1 RespuestaI'm pleased with my Pantech Flex, which would be destroyed if it was an iPhone. Don't get an iPhone. It WILL shatter. In fact, itis rare to see one that hasn't. And no, the Flex is not a special anti-whatever phone, it was a 99¢ phone and a cheap cover. Drop it on a tile floor on the corner? Nothing. An iPhone? Will be shattered. Because then you'll get a new one. And a new one. And a new one. Moral of this rant is, don't buy iDevices. Waste of money every time, except for headphones.

4 RespuestasiPhone. Definitely iPhone. My first one was a 3Gs and I will always have an iPhone. But be warned, once you get an iPhone, you'll be sucked into apple's ecosystem and you'll start wanting their other products because of the cross device features. Mainly getting the most out of iCloud, and my personal favorite, being able to send messages to other iOS and Mac computers ( ie iPhone to iPod, iPad or Mac) built right in.

2 RespuestasEither one is a good platform. I've had both, and I currently have the Nokia Lumia 920 (Windows Phone 8) and love it. I'm not a heavy app user, though -- just the more popular ones. I used to have an iPhone and really liked that too. If you want a slick operating system that works great with lots of security, and if you're deeply embedded in the Microsoft ecosystem (Xbox, Outlook.com, Office 365, and so on), go with Windows Phone. If you love apps, especially the more rare or obscure ones (including Bungie Mobile) and use a lot of iTunes and/or iBooks, you probably want to go with iPhone. Either way, you really can't go wrong; go try out both types and see which one you like the most.

I hear iPhones are absurdly easy to hack because Apple doesn't give a damn about security. Y'know, just in case you're paranoid about that stuff. My biggest issues with the iPhone is that you can't switch the battery. If the battery needs to be replaced, you need to send the phone away for a few weeks to get it fixed. That is unacceptable for any cell phone IMO, and no reasonable consumer should stand for that. But I have to hand it to Apple, though, because the iPhone is the most stylish smartphone on the market. /rant

As much as I dislike Apple, I'd have to say iPhone just because Microsoft has been nothing but shit lately.

1 RespuestaHave you tried clearing out your phone (or doing a factory reset) and optimising it? There are plenty of tutorials and forums that will show you what you can do to speed up your device. I currently have a HTC Wildfire which has received some pretty poor reviews in terms of performance from various people that have no idea what they are doing. Yet, mine runs smoothly with little to no problems. In terms of answering your question, I would personally wait for the Firefox or Ubuntu phones. If you must buy now, go for an iPhone due to simplicity, unless you want to play that new Halo game that is only for Windows 8.

12 RespuestasGet an iPhone 5. Don't let anyone convince you to get an Android phone because that OS is poorly optimized and really unstable. I've had my iPhone 4S for 1 and a half years and it has had literally no software problems. My friends Android has had to be reset on multiple occasions and runs pretty slow. Also, since iOS 7 is coming out, you'll definitely love the iPhone. They've added a lot of cool new features.

16 RespuestasIt depends on how connected you want to be to other devices. There is little a Windows phone can do that an iPhone can't but it isn't necessarily true the other way around. If you just want to use it as a mobile phone then get whichever one is priced better. If you want music or anything else as well, get an iPhone. Unless you want specific features of a Windows phone you should get the iPhone.

The only think better on an iPhone is the apps
