So there I am, happily PvPing on Dark Souls against some randomer, I'm timing his attacks so I can find out when best to riposte him and when I've got it down I perform one and kill him in one hit. Now I message him saying "good game" and proceed to PvP some more, I then receive a message back from him this is the whole quote "dlc noob bitch. get blocked." This in turn angered me so I replied with something on the lines calling him poor for not having the DLC and also calling him a bitch, full well knowing that as he as blocked me he won't receive such a message. But what I don't understand is why he sent me that message when I was just playing the game normally in the first place and even told him that it was a good game, now this guy has a game score nearing 70,000 so I know he's not some new guy playing. Why do gamers feel the need to rage? And name some times when you guys have raged at others for no good reason.

3 RespuestasI don't rage... I only have a GamerScore of 6490, I don't play that many Xbox games.

7 Respuestas"Poor for not having DLC" Well that's even worse.

4 RespuestasWow i know on at least most pc strategy games i play its always good mannered to say gg. I wonder why someone would reply so hostile

1 RespuestaMaybe all the winning got to his head, thus giving him a huge let down when he lost. Either way, very bad sportsmanship.

2 RespuestasMy cheek is kinda soft

Probably because he thought you lucked out on the Reposte (which I find very difficult to pull off in pvp, haven't done a single one in my 300+ hours of play), and maybe he thought you sending him a sarcastic good game without trying to say "I think you suck". His inner giant gamer ego (obviously existent if he has over 70,000 GS) wanted to send a comeback so that he could feel like he was the "better" person/player. ...or he just hates losing. Getting back to Dark Souls Etiquette, I played yesterday after having been absent from the game for a month or so, and only 1 invader bowed before combat and sent back a GG. It may be due to the lack of older players seeing as the game is roughly 2 years old now. Personally, I bow beforehand and only reply GG if I get sent one or if I won and thought the other player performed well. No trash talking, simply props when they are deserved.

4 RespuestasCo anyone worse than them is a noob, anyone better than them is a hacker or has no life
-
6 RespuestasWell OP, you shouldn't send people with the message "good game" after you annihilated them....
-
2 RespuestasI get called a "Newb Bitch" for hiding behind my blockers in grif...HAHAHA I send them a GG anyway. If they return the text with anger I send them a text back telling them "hey if you wanna learn how to play grif just ask, I can set up a tutorial with all of my frends"

1 RespuestaThe immature cannot fathom that they operate under the illusion of control. Anything that exposes this illusion is met with rage. You did him a favour.

4 RespuestasHe clearly doesn't git gud in Dark Souls. As for the 'dlc noob bitch' thing, I don't see how that comes into play, seeing as it sounds like you didn't use an of the DLC-based spells (i.e, Dark Bead, Pursurs etc.) He's just butthurt that he lost. I may not have the DLC ( In fact dark bead spammers have turned me off of buying it entirely because I got sick of it being used constantly) but it doesn't mean I'll abuse someone over it.

Lol I remembering slaughtering noobs in the wilderness when I still played runescape Some of them even begged for mercy

1 RespuestaButthurt gamers will forever remain butthurt. Best thing we can do, as fellow gamers, is point and laugh at them.
