Reapers, bro.
Uncountable synthetic killing machines, species that telepathically control all sapient life (Leviathans), faster travel via Mass Relays, etc.

Drag a single Halo into a battle with forces from everything in the MEverse and the only ones left standing are the Geth. Because. What did we learn in Mass Effect 2? Reapers are mostly made of organic material, take that away and all you have left is a shell and some inoperable weapons.
-
But also most things in the Halo Universe dies from the Halo too. The Halo argument draws a stalemate, not a victory.
-
Actually, the things in the Halo Universe hide in the Shield worlds and the Ark.

Editado por kgj: 7/15/2013 5:25:10 PMThe Precursor dominion extends throughout the universe and before the Big Bang. They can exist in physical bodies and pure embodiments of thought itself. It doesn't matter whatever Mass Effect pulls out of its a$$. Indestructible star roads destroy everything.
-
But they're extinct, so...
-
OP simply said Mass Effect universe vs. Halo universe. Theoretically, all the Reapers are dead in the destroy ending, all the synthetics are part organic (through some hyper bullsh1t Mac Walters crap) in the synthesis ending, and Control doesn't really make much of a difference. And ME's biggest players, the Leviathans, are gone as well. Even still, Forerunners are back (and no, Didact is not dead. And we have the trillions of Onyx/Requiem/Shield World sentinels, which would be capable of destroying all of Mass Effect with ease...
-
They actually are not. They died and came back as the Flood. Essentially they can resurrect themselves; that they are older than the universe ought to suggest that they are beyond death. And those are just the local Precursors. There reach spread across the universe, there are countless more out there.
-
And those are just the local Precursors. There reach spread across the universe, there are countless more out there.
True.
that they are older than the universe
By a few hundred billion years too. I was just like "wat" when I first read that...
-
What if it gets sent to the battlefield with a portal? (Like when they are being distributed by the Arks) And the Halo fleets GTFO? What about it being tugged into battle by a Fortress class warship?
-
The Forerunners incorporated numerous safeties into the Halo array, like standing on the Ring will protect you from it (wouldn't be much of a nature preserve if it killed what you're preserving), jumping to slipspace, or Shield Worlds.
-
Well, my theory is that a large portion of the powerful Halo beings are extinct, so they weren't all that powerful.
-
Yeah, because since Dinosaurs are extinct IRL and mice are still alive, mice are more powerful than a t-rex?
-
Apparently, since dinosaurs coulfn't handle a measily asteroid.
-
They were wiped out by the creator-Gods of their universe, what do you expect them to do?
-
Just the covanent alone could take on anything Mass Effect has.
-
Leviathans are practically Precursors limited to a single galaxy.
-
Precursor could do just about anything. The Forerunners alone could de-evolutionize the Levathians.
-
Actually now that I'm reading up on it, the Leviathans don't seem all that impressive... unless they have their little orb sh1ts, they don't really make a difference. Which begs the question, is this ME on the defensive? Or Halo? If it's ME, then Halo's gonna have a few more casualties. Though Precursors still laugh in ME's face.
-
That's true I was doing the same on wiki. They don't seem so impressive at all. Halo would win either way but ME would do an impression.
-
Precursors, which extend their domain across the entire universe, Forerunners with light based weaponry that sh1ts over kinetic barriers and had millions of weapon-ships per warrior that would easily sh1t on pretty much anything and shield worlds with uncountable numbers of sentinels, 49 of which were able to destroy an entire Covenant fleet with ease, and ancient humanity which were basically more arrogant versions of Forerunners. Oh, and ridiculous slip space capabilities for all the aforementioned races. Your move, Mass Effect.
