I also thought so, at first......
BUT: This expension is made for Praxic Blade. When wielding Praxic Blade, you are basically invincible in PvE. It's a very powerful weapon and you can easily beat Ultimate activities in D2.

So, pay to win?

Why pay to win? If you want to play Renegades, of course you have to pay. You earn the Praxic Blade and it's catalysts in-game. You only pay for a couple of visual things of Praxic Blade, if you want.

So you either play with a lightsaber, or you can't play. Well that is no fun.

Of course you can play with other weapons, instead. Only everything will be much more difficult, then. I played with other weapons untill 3 weeks ago, when I decided to buy Renegades.
