Because if Destiny was able to remove the problem the original poster is saying, it would not even scratch the surface of the many reasons people have left. Imagine Bungie said they can do one of these right now, but the other 2 will never be addressed. Which one are you pickling? All activities can drop Tiered Gear. AKA the portal is everywhere. No one can ever cheat in PVP again. No one can be kicked from random LFG's.

Not just those peeps. It's also the peeps that are chronically addicted to the game and will defend it with their lives despite Bungie not caring about them in the slightest.

Those are the main reasons all my friends stopped playing. I don't know anyone that stopped because of toxic players. They're easily blocked/avoided. The situation with toxic players may be much worse now, but the real damage was done long ago.
