So do other things.
People are mad at themselves because they want to do the absolute most optimal thing but then get bored and annoyed when they just do that one thing over and over and over.
There's power to be gained basically everywhere. It just won't be the same efficiency down to the second as caldera, or K1, or Starcrossed.

But we all have different preferences so I don’t blame you. The main gripe I have is the lack of fresh, repeatable content.

Lack of fresh content is a fair gripe. I've just continually seen the take of "I can't do anything but Caldera or K1" and most of the time it's because some content creator told them that it was the most efficient and now their brain won't let them do anything else. If that's not your case, no worries, and yeah, I wish we had more new missions to be thrown in there as well. Hopefully Ash and Iron brings some more life.

This. I’ve been enjoying hopping into Master Fireteam activities (except Delve… that boss fight is brutal) or some of the Crucible event. Caldera is the fastest but it’s so boring. I just bounce around where there are the most bonus drops (except for non-matchmade fireteam ops)

And I get people want to level as fast as possible, but we've literally got six MONTHS of this season. Plenty of time to slow down and play activities we actually enjoy. I've actually enjoyed the custom fireteam ops as a solo. Typically a decent challenge, although yeah, they take way too long solo (for me) to be even remotely efficient. Just a decent change of pace from blowing through a lost sector or Caldera.
