They are not free guardian. Its 10 bucks if you want that premium reward pass.
Basically it feels Bungie is just going to milk the free to play crowd by recycling old content for the portal while they buy stuff in Eververse.
* Raid itself looks extremely fun though not counting the contest mode.
Sidenote: A tier 1 gear item for a contest clear!? GLADD I passed lol
