Lots of real jobs that doesn't required 16 hours, but nice try.

If you don’t know what jobs do then you don’t know real work is. Stick to the offices.

Office is a real work man. Lol
Office is a real work man. Lol
Easy work. That’s why you don’t even know what sort of job requires a 16 hour shift or a three week stretch with no days off. And instead of being glad you don’t have to do it you talk out of your desk sitting -blam!- in the comfort provided by the very people doing it.

Check in with your blue collar pals. Cus 16 hour days are not uncommon. Especially in the oilfield. I've been doing 14 to 16 hour days for the last 3 months. Get the odd day at 10 or 12, but also get some at 18.

That's crazy, hope the money is worth it

Depends how you look at it. With my skillset and area i live in. Its about the best i can do without moving.

Smarter not harder, there you go

It's not that simple. I live on a farm 50 km's from the closest city. Which has a population of 30 000 people. Meaning my choices of jobs are pretty slim, without moving. My wife has a clinic here, so moving isn't an option. I make near the top of the payscale. Usually i only work around 10 hrs a day. With random days here and there that are 14 and 16, rare occasions push into 18 or 20 hrs in emergencies. But right there's an environmental emergency here. Big well blowout. Which is why we're working 14's on this job. A great many people can't just "work smarter". It's just not that simple
