Another +10
Another +10 increase proves how out of touch the devs are. This isn't going to bring people back. It will do exactly the opposite. They keep doing things that lose players. I think it is on purpose at this point. Another pyramid incursion for the dungeon is a joke. Episodes have been absolutely terrible, and it looks as if they're set to continue the trend.

I actually really liked echoes and I thought revenant was ok. And what’s wrong with 10 more power? That’s just a few pinnacle drops. Easy to obtain. And I think pyramid stuff is cool.

Editado por xbroggiex: 1/18/2025 2:54:53 PMI wouldn't care about power level increases if there was sources of pinnacles with no cap so you could just keep playing till you hit max and that should be the case with THE NEW CONTENT. I shouldn't be going back and playing old crap content Bungie refuses to update yet expects me to play for an arbritrary number they don't need to increase on a seasonal basis. Then if I get unlucky and do not get the drops in the slots I want I get less progress than someone that gets lucky. RNG progression is the most -blam!- backwards -blam!- in a game and leads to players quitting when they run an entire activity and can end up making zero progress.

They said Heresy would have the 10+ before Revenant came out so not really a surprise. And it’s an optional grind anyways which is why they brought it back. Don’t like it? Don’t worry about it. 🤷🏻♂️

IMO the plus 10, while redundant seeing as we are always under level for [b] ANYTHING [/b] today, isn't the major issue. My issue with it is when you play an activity and are "rewarded" with drops that do absolutely zero to increase this non meaningful number you start to ask yourself "why am I doing this" Even this wouldn't be such a big issue if the thing you were doing was something new or fresh or exciting, but when the majority of the content that you are required to play is the same thing we've been playing for years on end it becomes even more of a no thank you moment. It may not make me play any less but it definitely doesn't encourage me to play more.

2 RespuestasI bought the season pass and I was actually going to come back for heresy, after deciding not to play act three of revenant, but the longer I stay away the more I don’t want to play it. I’m just going to wait for someone to put all the cutscenes up on YouTube for Hersey so that I can see how bad they -blam!- up the end of the light and darkness saga. Even if I did decided to play heresy there is absolutely no way I’d buy frontiers, especially with all the changes they’ve announced that -blam!- is going to suck -blam!-.

If it bothers you....DONT GRIND FOR IT. Reaching pinnacle cap is NEVER usefull. Even in trials being at +5 or +6 is more than enough, and nobody plays trials now anyways. (And even at +10 you wont win against cheaters) Its a useless chore so act like it doesnt exist.

Power cap is kinda meaningless, why you stressin op?

Stupid question maybe, but if your current level is already above the power cap (even with the +10) does that make any difference difficulty wise?

It happens too much. I play mainly PVP and by the time I would be ready to play trials they up the light level. Probably plenty of players like me, it would obviously raise the player pool if we could hit max light before it raises.

Editado por amazing_month041: 1/18/2025 3:56:42 AMBringing pinnacle was an attempt to give endgame players something to do I got everything from dungeons including every exotic and their catalyst and my desired weapon rolls/armour for transmog therefore im done with dungeon although i did warlords last week but i did it because there was an update in one of my another game I ain't gonna run dungeons again for a simple pinnacle because if i want to see numbers go up i just play with one of the idle clicker games on my phone and im sure im not only one Chasing numbers which ones doesn't affect the game play anymore isn't content
