Prism Titan with Shiver strike, knockout, Diamond Lance is so insanely overpowered, it’s laughable. Prism Hunter’s area denial with smokes, clones, and swarms is pretty much the only thing that has any chance of countering that level of hyper offense. If you think Titans are bad in PvP right now, you’re simply not using the tools correctly. Many other things you said point to that:
No good exotics besides Armamentarium? Peacekeepers, Dunemarchers, Precious Scars, One-Eyed Mask, exotic class item. There are plenty of good options for Titans, even ones that require minimal build investment.
You’re using shoulder charge wrong. It doesn’t one shot because it grants a ton of value passively. You basically get an Icarus Dash built in to your subclass. Shoulder charge is a very good movement ability. And even though it doesn’t one shot, it does have very high magnetism and damage, locks players out of melee lunging for a short period, and applies a strong debuff on them, making it still a decent melee if you’re chasing an opponent who does not have a shotgun to punish you or catch someone by surprise. If you want a melee that plays the game for you and one shots, you have to invest your exotic for Peregrines. I feel that is a fair trade off.
Barricade has a long cast time because it is arguably the best (base) class ability in PvP. Maybe not in 6v6 or Clash but in 3s and objective modes, barricades provide an insane amount of value if used well. Use it to extend out cover to peek corners, get heavy or special ammo, get a revive, get a zone. These are things that provide direct tangible value to you winning while doing nothing other than using it at the right time and place. The other class abilities do not get this level of immediate value without the player executing on the benefit it provides (again, at base, there’s plenty of cheesy aspects and exotics that do change this dynamic).
I’m not here to hear whataboutisms, I think all three classes have tools that are ridiculously out of line since Prismatic launched. But this narrative that Titan players always have where they’re this weak underdog is just so ridiculous. If you can execute the hyper offense style the Prismatic subclass demands, it is an incredibly powerful subclass that is very oppressive to play against. It’s just Titans flee their class the second there’s any competition for being the best PvP class. It’s almost like it’s a problem with no one wanting to play the one-dimensional playstyles provided by the class and not that those playstyles are weak.
Regardless, I hope that I provided potential insight to up your Titan gameplay, should you choose to continue playing them.

Big agree. Barricade is very good and shoulder charge really facilitiates an agressive playstyle since you can just get out of a sticky situation. This also good really well with a barricade.
