My only thought or reply is… What would you do differently? What is an activity or quest that could/would add the “variety” you are looking for? Battlegrounds = Strikes Quest Chains are always going to be… Perform task (find object, talk to character, etc) = repeat for next step of story The only thing I can think of is branching out from the Helm as Hub of info and having the characters all go on their own task and us having to track them down go to different planets/areas to interact with them (kind of like Season of Dawn Worthy with the towers that were scanning). But it still all comes back to the same actions… just in different places.

  • The people that make the game get paid well to be creative… It should be on them to innovate… People have been saying the seasonal activity has felt tired for many years… I don’t feel much ever changed

  • That’s just a cop out answer. Basically just saying you don’t know what you want… they should be giving it to you though. If you don’t share feedback on what you are looking for, you are just like a little kid saying “im hungry” to a parent and when they ask you what you want saying “I don’t know” Bungie could fulfill every single PvP or PvE request and people would be complaining within a week because the players don’t really think ahead to how it will REALLY affect the game.

  • Not really as the community has given bungie years of feedback on how to tweak seasonal activities to make them more engaging as well as feedback on the drawbacks of the seasonal story models story telling and bungie response to both have been the exact same response of "we are listening"

  • Really? What is this years of feedback? We don’t like time gating? We also no life the game like cocaine addicts so no matter how much content you drop we will finish it in two days. Don’t make seasonal activities public events? Hasn’t happened in a LONG time but the last time during Season of Worthy was an actual good activity that summoned huge Warmind frames to fight alongside us. It got panned. Why don’t we have more strikes in the game? Battlegrounds are strikes… and people complain about battlegrounds. We want more interactive mechanics in missions… but don’t make them buttons to push or plates to guard or motes to gather or balls to throw. Why don’t you give us escort missions?… but not like those other escort missions in that strike you updated. Hopefully you get the idea…

  • What can they do that isn’t “do this activity”, “go here”, collect this, talk to this character, etc…? I literally don’t understand what you want them to do differently. What is “new”?

  • Maybe deviate from the usual "reach the end of the level and beat the boss" kind of strike such as sabotaging enemy key points, rescuing hostages or defending an object from enemy. Really, they can copy a lot from Warframe considering they've done that numerous times

  • All of the Season of Defiance Battlegrounds (where Amanda died) were about rescuing hostages. Most strikes and missions where you have to defend ghost while gathering data or sabotaging enemy tech make you have to defend certain points/positions. Still confused

  • You're still fighting a boss at the end, just with different steps for each objectives so it feels monotone. Try changing the final step to break the monotony
