So you did run it one time, and because you didnt make it we need more ways to optain the catalyst?
Sounds a bit like the Dual mission, people dont even want to run it but still want the Exotic class item.
What happened to being happy you got something doing something hard?
So you did run it one time, and because you didnt make it we need more ways to optain the catalyst?
I literally never said they needed to add more ways. The closest I said to anything like that was that they should remove the power caps or the level system entirely and never went into details on that subject on this thread. Seriously, what is it with people not reading or just completely misinterpreting what others say?
or they open up more ways to get this.
You said it yourself.

Again... Never said they needed to. What I say and how you interpret it are two very different things. Besides, do you really think they'll keep a catalyst of all things locked behind what they designed as one of if not the hardest GM and not eventually make easier methods of obtaining it? Their history of making these things easier to obtain or giving players plenty of time to reach their maximum effectiveness during an activity suggests one or the other will happen.

They do, you can buy them these days. But that are older ones, and this one is just out. And when you had did it numerus times, then in my eyes you had more right to complain. But come on, one atempt and you already start to complain and are searching for more ways to get it. Light lowered down and more ways.

I specifically said I'll hold off until I'm at the power cap or until they add more ways to obtain it. Meaning I'll work towards one, but if the other happens first, I'll do that. As for the other part of the level thing, me saying to remove the cap (allow players to benefit from their time/ effort that Bungie wants to "respect") or remove the system entirely? As I've said in other threads, there's no logical reason to have a level system if players don't fully benefit from it if at all. The significance of that progression now effectively null if someone else in the fireteam is a sufficiently high level. As for removing the level system, that doesn't directly have to do with difficulty. Nothing is stopping them from effectively making the difficulty more like what Halo had, which would be the more logical decision at this point: Faster enemy ROF More accurate enemies Increased incoming damage Enemies are more durable/ higher rank And some halos had more enemies If they want a more challenging game, they're doing it wrong. Yes, the result is the same, but you don't do it by capping the players, then nerfing them multiple times over while buffing the enemy just as much
