I just dont understand why I just can't get it from collections. I mean outbreak and whisper are there after completing the mission. It's obvious Bungie didn't think this through. It should be craftable.

You can't get the Exotic class gear from collections because it has random Exotic perk drops.

That's why it should be craftable. Idk get 5 patterns of the perk you want to unlock said perk even 10 wouldn't be that bad but not having a knockout system seeing as there is so many combinations that could be rolled is insanity.

Sure, why not? Bungie may as well just get rid of the Dual Destiny requirement too since so many feel they shouldn't be expected to run the activity to get it in the first place; no sense in grinding for the rolls we want either.

Naw that's not it at all. But you obviously don't understand why so many are unhappy. 30 min investment for a chance at a random roll just doesn't sit right with a lot of people the mission is great. But considering there's so many different combinations there should be a knockout system at least. Or like I said my plan make it craftable so at least there's a light at the end of the tunnel for whatever perks people are aiming for.

Yes, it most certainly is "it." More and more players are making posts demanding that Bungie make dungeons/raids easier, make it so their Exotics can be gotten from other sources, add matchmaking to everything, make everything both easier and solo-able, make it easier to get Adept weapons/Artifice armor, make it so the Exotic class armor doesn't even require a Dual Destiny completion, cater more to casuals, make something this, make something that, all to minimize the time and effort needed to accomplish anything in the game. Mind you, if all of those people were to get their way we'd all be doing nothing but running patrols because there's be no reason to do anything else.

Well im definitely not part of that crowd I understand your sentiments completely. I just think in this particular situation, considering the class item was a selling point for final shape. I don't think the ways to obtain it should have been limited to farming chest and the mission itself. Why not throw a chance into the three weekly cooperative focus mission or even master lost sectors on the pale heart.

I think those are 2 great ideas, especially since Lost Sectors no longer drop specific Exotic armor anymore. However, the aforementioned players would undoubtedly demolish those ideas the moment they catch wind of it and make the same accusation of "gatekeeping" they've been making for so long now.

Yea you're probably right. Like I was saying I like destiny really enjoy playing. Bungie just needs to give us more options. I enjoy the grind but not when it's centered around a couple of activities.
