Cost of living crisis in Destiny, like really? There enough crap in the world without you guys adding to it. People come on the game to kick back from the reality of life, But you just keep screwing everyone over.
Not enough glimmer to go round, prices of focusing. crafting and having to farm for stupid pieces from the moon to buy it
No bright dust bounties anymore so you get more screwed.
The whole game feels like a chore now. from stupid path finders and more seasonal challenges. you just cannot kick back and enjoy what you want anymore. the game is totally controlled, and im sick of this crap honestly.
I do miss shards and bounties, why change the root core of the game?? when it been like that for years?? so what people might over farm or whatever but damn, be grateful they not playing on call of duty or something else....... but that is where i willl be headed if this crap keeps up., ok vent over.

9 RespuestasEditado por Tahllinavian: 7/5/2024 11:23:36 PMI was in the process of writing up a thread about this but it seems you've beat me to the punch, the materials economy is the worst its ever been, especially after the removal of legendary shards. You ned 3, 3 damn ascendant shards, to masterwork one piece of Exotic armour now, its insane! Not to mention legendary lost sectors are pointless now and there's a huge burden on ciphers as well, thanks to the fact that its the only way to get unobtained exotics now.

1 RespuestaI couldn't agree more. The new Endgame grind is the grind for glimmer. Ridiculous.
-
2 RespuestasI hate how they’re changing the core mechanics like bounties into pathfinder, lost sector exotic armor into focusing (which I still have no idea how to do), and the removal of legendary shards (which they didn’t even replace with anything other than increased storage of glimmer).

3 RespuestasThey created the problem. So they can create the solution and look like saints. Just wait and see. It never fails.

7 RespuestasGlimmer hasn’t been an issue, but the amount of engrams needed to focus weapons is kinda crazy. 5 engrams for a nightfall weapon, 2 for a ritual weapon that’s 1 season old… don’t even get me started on trials…

9 RespuestasTbh, I have never seen any developer deliberately mess up an economy in their game as bad as this one has for 10 years straight. So Instead of utilizing material like a lot of developers do as basic programming to keep the game flowing making material have a purpose that benefits the player base this has been this developer's "solution" for 10 years. 1, Make sure that most of the material in the game has a low cap. 2, When allowing certain material to stack, make sure the player base can only delete them one at a time and send some of it to the postmaster to take up space. 3, When setting a very low cap, make sure the overflow stakes up in their postmaster, don't allow them to store any of it in their vault so it will push out items. 4, When we feel like changing something that doesn't need to be changed and was never asked to be changed, remove the material from the game leaving your player base dumbfounded. This has been their motto with material for 10 long years. That's some top-notch development right there.
Not.
10 RespuestasIt's conservative economic practices, tax the working class , slash taxes on the elites. Time to vote zavala and ikora out of office
-
I was glad I spent my last shards on raid banners (an odd 1700) because I saw the glimmer price of that -blam!- and I was like, yeah hell no After shard removal, it's hard to do what you want in the sense that if you want to farm, well tough luck buddy, 30.000 glimmer for pale heart, 10.000 for a ritual pathfinder you might not even Max out. Those are the worst offenders IMO I am mostly fine, my glimmer is kinda stagnant and if you play a lot, you delete a lot and your glimmer will grow up again, but for new players? Nah, they won't survive this economy in the long term

14 RespuestasYou don't even have character data on your profile. You are just trying to fuel a nonexistent fire.

They’ve essentially removed any way to accumulate “wealth”, which is just a slap in the face to long term players.

2 RespuestasInflation got to Destiny 2 :(

1 RespuestaGuardians need a stimulus package

5 RespuestasUmmmm. I have to disagree on this one. I'm always maxed out on glimmer. In fact, I'm constantly buying upgrade modules and leveling weapons up b/c I can't stand to be maxed out. I have to delete golf balls and prisms to rank up with vendors. I started with 700 enhancement cores this season and already back up to 1167. lol i just looked at my glimmer lol and 500K!!!! 😆 Of course, I'm the gal that has 141,198 bright dust too! Yes, I do buy stuff --just not everything😎 I do not understand how people mismanage their resources!!!

2 RespuestasYep. Have friends who wanted to pick up this game that never played it and hear us talk about it. I IMMEDIATELY said don't. It's not friendly for new players, and half the time it's not friendly for vets. I play games to chill with friends and have fun doing things, but if you don't play this game x amount of hours a day, or x amount of time a week, you won't have enough materials you need to craft/buy/upgrade things you want. A game should not be a second job, but this has kind of become that. I still play, because I have enough of said materials to do what I need, but a new light will get easily frustrated by this game economy.

5 RespuestasThe bright dust bit, I'll give, but the glimmer? We've got plenty.
-
What do you even do with glimmer!? That stopped being an issue for ages now. And if you think destiny 2 is grindy and expensive may i introduce you to warframe? Try that one and then compare it to destiny 2.
-
You need to be better with your money I have no such issues. You’re just trying to be a victim
-
can someone please inform Mr wizbang at bungie that my cores are taking over my inventory 6000 cores and can't even use them to buy glimmer. but they want glimmer for a core. hello?? mr wizbang fix your broken game.
-
The current system is by far the worse it has ever been. There needs to be another way to exchange materials for glimmer.
-
1 RespuestaJust dont get the loot. You dont need every possible combo in the game. I feel like players try to hard

Its funny I'm actually watching my games now to see how much glimmer I make.. around 15k per IB match.. and I'm using...lol... glimmershard..I'll also add the cost of legacy IB went from 2 to 3 :( but happy that all are at 1 in the focused (btw out of rainmaker/phantasmal frags.. so its all paid by clocking in now) ...but to counter that ~complaint.. game psychology is tricky stuff and will this make the game somehow feel more worthwhile rewarding? Does Bungie have a Psych Game Ward with Mental Wizards? -
Let us buy glimmer with enhancement cores
-
I just kinda ignore most of that, relax, and do whatever I want. So it can be done.
-
I dont know if you realized now but the game since D1s first launch has been a hard core grind. If you played d1 you will and should be happy that at least you get some stuff to begin with, and not have to spend weeks on some shitty rote trying to gather 20 pieces of a certian rss. Long live the mindless grind!!!
-
6 RespuestasUsually always full on glimmer but really struggling with it despite barely spending any except when focusing for that Stasis fusion rifle Banshee can sell (I've been trying to get Recon/Chill since it released!) with no luck on the desired roll. Prices have gone up with the difficulty so that'll definitely bring in New Lights when they can't afford what was once easily affordable!

6 RespuestasWhat is needed is a Trading Post (see WArFrame) where players can offload weapons / resources for ‘silver’ to those that want to buy such. A small levy could be applied to each transaction to benefit the Destiny (BHQ) Charities. Grinders would then have a reason to grind those Raids / Dungeons / GMs…and the rest of us can shop around for the best deals. Let market forces reign free with sensible oversight mechanisms, and include a ‘cooling off’ period that allows a hasty purchase to be fairly addressed. A barter system could also be included for the less attractive ‘must have’ weapons / gear, where even the newest New Light can trade. I used this system a lot during my WF time away from Destiny. It works…and set up correctly, it could be a great boost to the Community / the game itself! Just my 2d worth. 🤔 Ease springs! 🫡
