You are kidding yourself if you think you don’t need ADU defenses.
I’m sorry, but if you are simply not spending ANY scrap in the first 20 rounds because you think it’ll be better to spend it all at the end, you are just wrong.
I don’t know how many times I’ve had to see people try to save scrap and not buy any defenses and then lose on round 13 when nothing is stopping enemies from just walking up to the ADU.
You simply aren’t that good at the game like you think you are. And you are kidding yourself if you think you can simply save 100% of your scrap until the end.
EDIT: For all of you losing your minds in the comments, I’m not trying to direct this at you. I’m trying to talk about random blueberry’s that are using primary handcannons for DPS and are dying every 30 seconds. Sorry you all felt I was personally attacking you.

If you have tethers and sunbracers it usually isn’t too much of a problem up till round 20 or 30. But in your case, the least they could do is use up their scraps instead of spending a whole minute dealing with each enemy using primary ammo

I dont buy anything till about 30 and even then i do basics so i have enough to get a minimum of 2 shaxxs for 40+

If you are experienced on normal, you don't need defenses. I let the volatile, ignitions and jolt do the work for me😎 Saved up for 40 rounds to be able to upgrade everything to max level but the fact you need to do so is more an issue of scrap economy. If you have a good CC build you will have little to no trouble. What I am going to be pissy about is the fact on round 40 everyone decides to shoot the tormentor when it spawns. Now we have a rampaging tormentor and ads flooding the EDU. If you let tormentor chill near a decoy you can deal with him later but hey, we like to play hot potato with a scythe wielding chonky boy 🤦♂️

I always buy a lore lv1 in every zone for tormentors, then i spend scrap in the later rounds (30+).

idk bro.. seem to do just fine until wave 30.. iv actually had to do it solo accouple times cus people leave but are eventually replaced.. decoys seem to be the most effective so usually save up till i have enough for 1 shaxx on the city map and i usually buy one that is close to an enemy spawn in other rounds so we get bleed over i see heavy ammo as way more of an issue like use all your ammo first before just grabbing the crate

1 RespuestaHaving done more than 40 full 50 wave clears on legend, you're wrong. If your team doesn't have the capability to keep ads off the ADU and manage the tormentor when and if he spawns in the first set of 10 waves, that IS a skill issue. Git gud..

I think you can hold out for quite a while without them. As far as the HC primary damage and dying every 30 seconds go, that and if your team doesn't melt the first 2 bosses (at the least), you're not making it to 50 anyway, so spending or saving scraps wouldn't really matter.

The adu defenses definitely seem more necessary than they were. Not necessarily a bad thing but now there's going to be very few shaxxes.

7 RespuestasThats funny, people have solod Legend and saved up scrap for that. Boom there goes your argument. I save up for tier 3 decoys in round 40 and it works great while my randoms buy whatever. Mostly tripmines. Normal is so easy even 2 bad players can do it without buying anything in the first 30 rounds. In fact spending money in normal before 30 is ridiculous as theres a 5 second respawn timer Always funny to me, these takes. If your team is bad you can buy all the defenses u want early on, it wont save the run. I just watch the ADU get destroyed, on Normal, in round 3. Round 3, while my team completely ignored all visual and audio cues. I didnt help because I was fascinated ofcourse But thats my point, round 3 and it wouldve happened with 0 or 200 decoys
