Ok... i tought it's impossible for normal / casual player,
but guys told me it's "easy" - they just did 1 Nightfall,
hit "Platinium score" of 170k and got it.
Ok - I'm gonna give it a try...
Just did a few Nightfalls yesterday - finally hit "Platinium score" over 200k, and...
it told me - i'm in the Top 70% :D
Well... FU Bungie - not doing this again - this game really needs to die.

1839 and struggles with the simplest of activities. Perfect example that light lvl. ≠ skills.

😂😂I luv these posts.

2 RespuestasHonestly, it was easier to just get it with the focus packages. Did it Saturday.
-
1 RespuestaI'm garbage at this and I did it. I don't know how people haven't done it by now.
-
3 RespuestasHopped on after reset today, got above 200+ and said I was in 90%. Yeah, I don’t want this that bad sorry.
-
2 RespuestasI tried last week and failed. Then I watched Esoteric do a ridiculous amount of points in the same nightfall. Basically used his loadout and tried my best to do as much as I possibly could. Obviously didn’t get as many points as he did but its was still way more than in my first attempts and it was plenty enough for to 10%.

Editado por Jet Set Willy: 3/13/2024 12:53:04 AMThe key is getting it done early. I just got top 10% with a 259k score on my first random matchmade run through Lake of Shadows. The first two players left right at the start. After others joined, me and one other guy were trying to emote finish but the third player didn’t bother. Couldn’t believe it when the exotic allstar vector dropped. Edit: Did a second run later on and got a higher score, 280k+ which showed as only top 20%. Definitely a good job I got on early after reset/downtime.

11 RespuestasThe score resets weekly, which means if you’re going for the top 10% score your best odds are hopping on immediately after reset tomorrow. For those of us who work or have school obligations, we’re just boned, lol.
-
This is 100% a "you not knowing what Top 10% means" problem.
-
3 RespuestasWhat gave you the impression that "top 10% of all players" is meant to be something easily achievable for your typical self-proclaimed casual? Even then, your highest character is 1839, which suggests you have a lot more time to play than most. The means of getting a high score in the Nightfalls is easy - don't confuse it with not having to try, or go slightly out of your way to do it. If you try your hardest and still don't get a high enough score, there are still two other avenues for you to get the Skimmer.
-
Tbf, just wait for the focus activity and play hunter. You literally are guaranteed the board. I'm not saying that to be snarky btw, I understand that means you need to wait a good while. At least you don't have to try to compete with the stacks who have spent all week perfecting the scoring though lol.
-
than don't run like a headless chicken through the strike as fast as possible as 75% of the players do. if you struggle to get 200k, it's on you, not bungie. high scores are so easy to get.
-
Boo hoo cry much
-
😂😂😂😂 imagine being this bothered by an activity that wants the game to "die". Breathe dude! It's just a game and score resets every tuesday. Calm down you'll get your shiny!
-
It isn't difficult, and refusing to do basic things like finishing a Champion instead of shooting it is sabotaging the otherwise easy score.
-
Just do the focus activity as a hunter OP. If I'd picked up on this last weekend I'd already be done, but I only found out late yesterday. Just ran a gambit one tonight and I'm already 1 out of 3.

1 RespuestaThis is what I did and is stress free. Link your account to twitch and watch some moron at night before you go to sleep. Just let it run as you only need 2 hours. You can do this once a week for 3x for 900 points. Then just LFG for the lost sector or bang out a few Shuro Chi runs to get the raid platinum thing done. You are not going to get the top 10% unless you are well into 300k now. Everyone wants everything right now when you have another two weeks to get it. It doesn't matter how you get to the end, but that you make it there. Sometimes, where the herd goes is not the best strategy. Essentially, you need 100 points a week doing the twitch thing, which you most likely already have most of those 300 points you need. Focus buddy...when the end game is the same for everyone it doesn't matter how to get there.
-
Don't stress. You can get the skimmer different ways and it just got easier for all non hunter mains. Hunter class is now nerfed in GG and Warlock / Titan buffed. Over the next week you'll have plenty of opportunity to get the skimmer via the winners packages. Bungie wants everyone to have if.....they just want a little of your play time. It wont take you long.
-
Dude just play as a hunter three times for the focus activity packages and you’ll get it by the end of the day. You should never try and attempt the hardest challenge, just do the easiest thing you can. If you can’t do that then maybe this isn’t the game for you, and this is coming from someone who actively shits on Bungie and their decisions. Just breathe bro, after all it’s just a game there’s many others you can play too.
-
It's the end of the week, the top 10% score has ballooned. You can still get it, but you'd need to get a group, but mm for it. If you really want it, best tips to get her done: 1. Go for it after reset when the score is lower and less people hands played. 2. Wait for a high scoring strike. 3. Get a group to help you, don't mm for it. If you just want the hover board, another easy way to do it is just grab a hunter and pledge (do the first run in the focused activity as a hunter) 3 separate times. Hunters have won every time. You will get 3 winner packages.

10% is 300k

All you need to do, legit, is go in solo, kill all red bars with an LMG, and emote then finisher anything above an orange health bar including Champs, done. Just make sure finishers are roughly 5 secs a part.
-
I did it by going solo and making sure I emoted before doing a finisher on all the champions. Top 10% for me at the time was around 269k. It sounds like you just ran through. Just killing a champion will get you about 1/3 of what you can get if you emote then finish them. This was on Inverted Spire.
-
Do it again at reset if you want. It gets harder and harder to get as the week goes on because people get higher and higher scores. Early in the week, less competition. I just got it through the focused activity packages. Just wait and see who is likely going to win the focused activity and play 1 activity on that class. Also, the focused winner engram gives you full medals.
-
I'm already halfway towards the medal score. Not even bothering with top 10%. The Plat from twitch doing work.
