I can't tell if the community doesn't care about high stat artifice armor or doesn't know they can farm it. Bungie, please update all dungeons.
What the title says.
Edit: Given the responses I've seen in this thread that the community would rather just go to the helm and just get high stat armor, I would hope Bungie would see this as the lack of availability of high stat artifice armor.
To my understanding, high stat artifice armor is only available on Grasp of Avarice when it's the featured dungeon, which tends to be every 6 weeks given the current number of dungeons in the rotation.
Bungie, please update so all dungeons drop high stat artifice armor.

Many of the ones who can farm it, already did. Ages ago. Not everyone, sure, but a LOT of us. We have no reason to farm new armor. That and you don't [i]need[/i] high stat artifice armor for anything in this game. It's a luxury most everyone can afford to be without.

The amount of time it takes to even get the armor you want, in the slot you want, with the stats you want, is already annoying enough when it's all randomly dropped from a boss. Being able to add another tier to a single stat, or maybe push two stats up a tier if your armor is particularly well-rolled, just isn't worth the time. Almost every time, those stats you're raising with Artifice are your tertiary "might be nice to be at 40 instead of 30" stats that you tank in order to get 100 in the stats you actually care about. The only Artifice armor that makes sense to go for is the Class Item, because that can be shared across every single build. Beyond that, just focus gear at the Helm instead.

The sheer amount of grinding you would have to do would be insane. That and bungie have screwed with artifice armor in the past so now the chances of getting decent armor is lower than it used to be. Edit: did a master grasp run and got 59 roll artifice. Not grinding that -blam!-

Whats easier? Focus armor with peak stats in the helm or do a Master dungeon with bunch of randoms.

Bungie keeps nerfing Artifice drops silently. It's better to just focus at the HELM, it's less of a time commitment and it loves to drop 66+ stats

Too hard to grind the rolls that are worth replacing well rolled, high stat armor from the helm. Maybe if they buff artifice from an extra 2 points to 5 points more would farm it. I only use an artifice bond regularly in my builds. It helps at times but really isn’t needed.

What I've learned from years of playing is that artifice armor and adept weapons are for those hardcore players that want that little edge, I like artifice to round out some stats for builds, but you can easily do without it especially adept weapons.

1 RespuestaMaster Duality used to offer some of the best armor in the game, with high stats, double spikes, and the Artifice slot I think right before Lightfall, Bungie released a patch that said they were making all other Master Dungeon armor match Duality's drops. In reality, they just made Duality's armor as shitty as everywhere else I wouldn't recommend anyone consider committing the time to getting good Artifice armor, when the chances of getting something useful are much lower than just focusing at the Helm Hopefully Bungie changes Artifice drops to match what Duality used to be

We don't care. I've been wearing the same armor for legit 2 years because new armor is crap. Crap rolls with crap stats. Like most of what BungLe does lately.

7 RespuestasI have never failed an encounter because i was missing 5 points in an amor stat. Artiface armor is not worth farming. If you are really that into squeezing stats, be my guest. Bungie has no problem changing the stats meta.

Where? Can be matchmade or solo? Otherwise another dumb team-gated crap. Some of us just want to login and play.. why does Bungie force this team crap to everything. Just damage scalar it down add freelance... they spent resources for in-game lfg.. when all they needed was to scalar the damage down or give us difficulty options.. who made that executive decision? The population you don't have is the population to support teams not solos. -

2 RespuestasBelieve me… I’ve TRIED to farm it so nauseatingly… My rolls are always trash, and after 200+ runs to STILL fail to get the correct armor rolls, it sucks the life outta you. Ghost of the deep in particular is near impossible to farm artifice on (and I want to do it so bad…) because of how difficult master is. I can take care of myself in game, but my partners consistently die…

Yeah , some people find it too hard or leave when they cannot one-phase , when they die or whatever ... I do a master final boss encounter with lfg in 10-15min and sometimes people die and i never one-phase . Sh$t happens ... I farmed it a bit this week and got some pretty good rolls . I might farm some more 😉

3 RespuestasPeople dont care about it. At the time it was Interesting, but Bungie fumbled the Ball so many times on it, people just really dont Care. The thing that did it for most players was the Debacle with Grasp of Averice. don't remember how its called. dont judge my spelling. lol
