You’ve killed less than 500 opponents in Banner this season. Quit whining and play more.

So, you kind of missed a couple of points I was making. First, I suck. Being 68 years old with my fast twitch muscle and eyesight gone to hell, I am not ever going to have a lot of kills. that's kind of the definition of what sucks is. Second, I am not a professional streamer, I don't have all day to play. I work 10 hour days and have a wife and a mother with Alzheimers that I take care of. So, time is precious. I suspect there's a lot of people who have time restrictions. I don't think it's reasonable to require wins to advance a triumph. I am one of 6 players on a team. My advancement is not just dependent on MY skill level, but everyone else's. So, with as bad as matchmaking seems to be, I have no prayer (See the comment, I suck). I have managed to get the 4 levels of challenges the first IB, and will probably make it this time, and I am sure I will get the reset done by next time, because that's something that's dependent on me. But I don't think there's a chance in heck that I can get wins. Maybe if they really gave bonus progress like they said they did, which leads to 3) Bungie states that you get bonus progress if you do what they say to do. They don't. I have a serious problem with that. If you say you are going to do something, then do it. BTW, see the I suck comment. I am sure I am under 500 kills. I suck. But, what does that have to do with anything. If I had 2K kills and wasn't on a winning team, what would it matter? I could lead the kill count in every match, and if the team doesn't win, I can't get the triumph.

The game shouldn’t pander a PVP triumph to people that suck (your words). It’s called a triumph for a reason. Accept that you won’t get it and move on. Not completing a triumph affects nothing. It doesn’t stop you from doing anything in the game and the reward doesn’t give you an advantage. It’s not because you suck, it’s because you don’t have he time. You could get no kills in any game and eventually get the wind needed if you have enough time.

Zeus Yes'ish, but you are still missing the point. If I can't get it because I suck I do in fact accept that. However, the triumph is based on TEAM victories, which is 100% out of my control. That's why it's unreasonable. How is it fair that MY triumph is solely based on a) having a good team, b) having match making work accurately (which it doesn't) and c) how is it fair to other team members trying to get the triumph if my suckiness hurts them? I do try and make time. I have over 6600 hours playing the game (only 10% is PvP, I will admit) since D2 started (I think that's the charlegmaine yardstick for hours. I think if a requirement is based on Team Participation, then it shouldn't require victories. That's not a fair test of an individuals skill.. Participation should be all that's required. AND, if Bungie says "If you do this, then you get increased points for doing said thing" then you should get those points. It's like with the level 1 through 11 banner system. I will never get level 11 because there's no way I am good enough to solo, or solo flawless, dungeons. I wish I was, but I am not, and I am not upset with Bungie for posting that as a requirement. It is in fact an excellent test of an individuals skills. No way to cheese that nor should there be. I will get 10 when I am finally able to get on a successful raid for Croata. Again, I sort of have a problem with that, because it requires a team to succeed and is not my skill set. That's sort of a punishment for players that aren't in a clan or have a hard time finding an LFG that will accept people who haven't been farming it.

Quite simply, it's fair because your triumph is exactly the same triumph for me and every other player.
-
So, your answer is completely correct in that everyone has to complete the same thing, and it's a completely pointless answer. My part c specifically said, why is it fair to anyone else. If I'm earning a triumph, "I" should earn it. If I'm constantly being slotted into laggy poor connections, and being mercied because the team is outmatched, how does that show my abilities? If I were, miraculously constantly be the top scorer on my team and everyone else has kda like, .25 how does that show my abilities? Or if I'm the one constantly with a .25 kda, how's that fair to my team when I'm keeping them from winning? Or how is it fair to someone like Myelin Games in Australia who says he often can't find a crucible match at all. Why should he be punished for something that's clearly out of his control?
-
Because you’re expected to contribute to your teams victory. Just the same as there are requirements for PVE triumphs that require a team.
-
Where do you find that, Destiny Tracker?
-
Tap their name on here and scroll down to stat trackers then tap crucible.

Thank you, I'm curious what mine is for this season.

That's mine?
That's mine?
Yep.

That K/D seems way too high; at most I would've expected 0.6-0.7, certainly not over 1.0. Then again, as you said it is only Iron Banner, lol. Thanks again.
-
Pat yourself on the back. It took me half of D1 to get up to a positive K/D.
-
I appreciate that. Now, if only I could get my K/D in the other PvP modes above 0.2-0.5, I might actually be considered mediocre. 😂
