Only you can fix this. Wait out any mandatory cooldown(s) and fix it when they are done. Nobody else can do anything to help and the wait times are 1000% mandatory. 90 days for silver purchase and 90 days to enable cross save again.

Ive seen people get help for my particular situation on the forums before you are wrong and not helping unless you are an actual bungie employee your words have no use or meaning please refrain from commenting unless you are experiencing the same problem so we can get an actual bungie rep to look at this and help I read everything about this issue after it happened because that info is nowhere to be seen unless you have the same problem.

That was long ago. They used to do a save swap if set up wrong, but this was abused by bad actors. Now they maintain a hardliners mandatory timer stance.

So since i gave them money for silver which was only 35 dollars worth and now i have 0 silver i cant catch a break? like how do they expect people to stay invested in their game when stuff like this happens? they need to figure something else out to be more helpful to the people that just made a simply mistake i just wanna play destiny lol ive never been banned in a game before but this might as well be my first for doing nothing wrong

How can i have a wonderful day with no fix to this ive been constantly playing this game for a long time now i cant anymore guess ill have to go find a new game to play probably wont be worth returning to this game after having to wait 65 days because i gave this company the thing they want more and value more than anything else which is money

Because I believe in being polite even when you accused me of being untruthful. I only give answers that are 1000% truthful based on the rules that Bungie themselves have laid out. It is not my opinion that you must wait the silver cooldown and then disable and wait another 90 days it is the fact.

Your right I have been widely upset over my own mistake and I apologize for coming at you. You answered honestly and it was a hard truth I did not want to accept at that time but now that I’ve had some time to chill out and think clearly I recognize my mistakes and will just have to wait for the cooldown period thank you for being polite when I wasn’t and I hope you can enjoy the rest of your day thank you for your help

Hi just a quick question is there any chance instead of turning off cross save or anything like that is there any chance Bungie could just make my xbox/windows account the primary like it was before? if not thats fine i understand just a thought

However to many people took advantage of it and they took this action away. The rules for cross save have been the same for the 4 years since it was introduced. Picking the correct primary save account is crucial during the process it clearly asks which set of characters do you want to use across all linked platforms. I used the process 2 times before I quit playing this game and it really is a clear and well laid out process. I'm sorry but there is no way around these wait times. 90 days for silver when that expires you can play again on the platform the characters were created on. Once you turn off cross save you must wait another 90 days mandatory before you can turn cross save back on and put the accounts in correct order and play as you want to.

Got it so just to clarify one last thing so i dont make the same mistake again. My characters come from xbox console and i have destiny 2 downloaded on my laptop through xbox windows for PC i just need to link those two together again then set my xbox console characters as the primary then i am good do i have that right?

Just not on the correct set of characters. Would you prefer it to be permanent? Because that was the original plan.

I have no interests in starting over the years i put into this and doing the same things all over again i have pretty much everything in the game why would i want to start over and if permeant was the original plan it really shows bungies true colors

All you need to do is have a little thing called patience. Your characters didn't go anywhere. Just make sure you set it up correctly next time.

65 days for the silver cooldown. Another 90 days for the cross save cooldown. :) At least once the 65 days are done you can play on your preferred set of characters only on the platform they originated from.
