1. The need for PS+ or XB Gold in games is controlled by the platform providers not by Bungie.
2. The whole point with exotics is the challenge to find them. Just unlocking everything removes a reason to do certain activities.

I do agree about it being a challenge and what not, and I guess it is a flex to load up your old Vault and go "look at all my god rolls", but I ask... Who is still seriously grinding D1 anymore? Who is actively running raids in D1? Because if you know them send them my way, I've still got some raid armor sets I'd love to complete
