.......to simply "player vs player", and remove reference to the word "Crucible" from Destiny vernacular, because by definition there is no melting pot of trial. What does exist is a manipulative algorithm and construct that values things other than trial by fire.

8 RespuestasThe lore way back when spelled it out quite well, it's meaning isn't literal but as an allegory. Like the phrase "forged in the crucible of war", breaking and hardening men. That's exactly what Lord Shaxx wants because he'd rather have it done in his crucible then in battle when loss of life could be a certainty.
