I'm not they're "foils" of each other. I clearly explain that. The ruse is defaming the 'mother' assuming her role. Something Savathun is kinda' known for... doppleganging. It started with last season and Lightfall... Nimbus is trying to expose Osiris... he already knows who Maya really is. That's why it's called Veil "Containment".... These names are important, in psychological realism it defines perspectives... in the Brother's Karamazov, each brother has multiple names indicative of multiple perspectives... 'Osiris' IS connected to Isis, the Veil of Isis... similar iconography. The Witch Queen has different names defining different perspectives and periods in her life. The Prince of the Awoken... Uldywn, Uldren... Crow... same tropes of multiple perspectives and indeterminism. Nimbus knows the subtext to Maya's sacrifice per the record of Subject 13. Osiris is corrupt. What does their being foils have to do with you saying one statue means different people for different things? Not to mention why they would of been made by the Witness and his people.
