It's an MMO, and most of them charge like $10 per month to play them. That's $120 per year for a single game. This ends up being about the same in the end.

It’s actually like $200 a year to play FFXIV. $12 a month plus you have to buy the new expansion. $100 a year for Destiny 2 isn’t bad at all.

Lol, destiny isn't an MMO
-
Uh… it is
-
Oh yeah....an MMO with a 5th of content that normal MMOs have
-
The amount of content isnt what determines whether or not it’s an MMO…

Still, the original idea for Destiny was an RPG with a sprinkle of MMO elements. It wasn't until Luke Smith came in and started reminiscing on his WoW days that he said it was an MMO, which, when it comes to pricing, it is...

Editado por Mara Sov’s Step Bro: 3/8/2023 9:09:18 AMLuke Smiths analogy was never WoW, it was Diablo (he just happened to play a lot of WoW), and being a hardcore 20+ year MMORPG player myself I’ve always considered Destiny an MMO(RPG) even before they started calling it one. It has all the elements of an MMO(RPG). In regards to pricing though, no it’s nothing like it. It’s like a B2P game that became a F2P game (except it’s still B2P). Heavily monetized with battle passes and “micro” transactions, all under the misleading guise of being “Free to Play”.

A demo/trial claiming itself as f2p

Your math is -blam!-, “10$ a month, 120$ a year. They are basically the same” uuuuhhhh that’s a 40$ difference?
