Yeah, it's bad. I just try not to even use to melee ability.

The melee is cracked as hell. It’s by far the best part of their kit.
-
I'm talking about the tracking - half the time it doesn't even go to the direction I'm facing at.
-
I’ve only really had issues with bigger versions of enemies like Minotaurs where tracking on anything is reduced to a suggestion anyways.
-
If you eg. try to hit enemy that's slightly below you, my character tends to hit swing over it. Not to mention the fact that it lunges you forward automatically annoys me, just give me other option for melee like other subclasses.
-
The lunge is nice for movement and it lands 99% of the time. I’ve been using nothing but strand since I completed the campaign and I have had no more issues with the melee than I have any other melee.
-
That’s really fortunate for you but not my experience. Been doing nothing but strand as well and struggle to consistently depend on melees especially in crucible
-
Not really sure how.
-
Ya same feeling. It’s a coin toss when I have a powered melee, which feels super rewarding, especially against a group. Once I’m out of charges, synthoceps go back to doing work
-
The registration “issues” with the berserker’s melee aren’t any worse than what happens with melee in general. The melee lands 99% of the time with the odd miss here and there, just like melee in general.
-
Nope never said registration issue. When I track, it registers. So just a tracking issue for me and it is often. I like the melee, it just swings in unexpected directions when I’m within an arms lengths of another guardian
-
Tracking, registration, whatever. It doesn’t really suffer more than shoulder charge, the behemoth melee, etc, etc.
-
I imagine it's nice if you want to be mobile - but I built my Titan around Barricade and suspend. So I don't want basic melee to yeet me miles away from safety of the Barricade.
-
Which isn’t a problem with strand. It’s just not your play style.
-
Well, like I said, "just give me other option for melee like other subclasses."
-
Point being the melee isn’t bad, you just don’t like it. I wouldn’t hold my breath for new abilities.
-
Well, with the current issues the melee has - I just won't use it, plan and simple.
-
And that’s fine.
-
I typically try to use them up and then synthoceps are able to track again. But I’m hoping this is unintended and will be fixed
