How the hell can people complain about resilience being too over powered. You oaks are clowns.

DR is DR. And Recov is worthless with all the healing abilities in game now. Unless it’s at least tier 8 you won’t notice it in endgame PvE. So there’s still no reason to not focus Resil.

10 RespuestasThe whole conversation is exhaustingly stupid. It WILL get nerfed (they are already trying to make it harder to build into, via the screenshots of the new mod costs in the buildcrafting preview...), and no one will be happy because the lesser skilled players will get kicked in the teeth, and the higher skilled players will just immediately find the next "broken" thing to complain about. This cycle is why the game will never be as great as it should be. "Here's a little power, oop, too much! Back to mediocrity, oop, too much!" This does nothing but incentivize apathy, because the constant back and forth changes are just infuriating if you bother caring. It is, what it is, and that mindset makes it much easier to engage with the series, which is -blam!- sad.

20 RespuestasNerfing resilience will mean that regular players who needed 20 mins to finnish a GM, now need 30+. That's it. Everything will become less fun and more tedious for casual players, for most even unnaccessible. One thing is certain - they are obviously listening, when they say they are, just not us. They ask for feedback, but they only do what content creators want. F the rest of us. I'm so glad I didn't preorder anything. I've seen this coming a long time ago...

3 RespuestasEveryone fails to see the stealth nerfs behind the scenes and the trend of taking something away from us to bring it back as a mod. Compare our current base PvE resilience to the the pre-buff resilience and oh wow did we take a huge blow, we need to run 80 resilience to be on par with pre-buff. It was a back-handed buff. They dropped our base resilience and forced us to build into resilience mods giving us 40% max damage resistance when we're only slightly better off than before it and everyone blindly praised it as a huge buff. Another example is AE, take it away and force us to build into it. Another example is PvE flinch, the screen shake and massive flinch this season is atrocious unless you build into stability. Wake up folks, they keep taking things away and present them back as buffs and expect us to be grateful for it.

1 RespuestaStill didn’t buy lightfall. I’m not too bothered with resilience going down, I’m more annoyed that Bungie is peeing into our mouths after we ounce again spent so much time farming the content less hamster wheel in an effort to get something out of the void. The more I read about what Bungie is doing, the more no content warning signs pop and the more I fear this is another tweaks here and there as a means to avoid delivering actual content beyond 7 legendary missions. Dead space, silent hill, and a few others this year around look like good alternatives whereas 2022 had no competition whatsoever. I feel like I’m going to go back to the F2P experience. It’s ok. Just sad and annoying being fooled so much by the company we support so significantly.

1 RespuestaResilience is not even that strong is a 40% damage but ur still going to get one shot buy bosses in gms

3 RespuestasBungie has to keep changing up the mix, can't have people sitting on the same armor they earned 2 years ago forever. They need you out there chasing that new stat that didn't really matter before.
-
That dude fights against anything that is against the majority of the player base. It’s just one request after another toward Bungie. The worst thing is he doesn’t even know the word buff.
-
Just more nerfs and less buffs
-
They have nothing else in life to do, you ever seen some of these guys?

2 RespuestasThe content creators is what’s killing my vibes with this game. I’ve researched and destiny has the most copy paste then any community in gaming. 1 guy says something op then like clockwork, the others hop on the train for views and monetary gains, while simultaneously encouraging the devs to change game systems. We call them snowflakes

3 RespuestasEditado por hopesfall2own: 1/24/2023 6:32:00 AMand when a no name team gets World's first on the new raid all the streamers will be crying to get something else nerfed Every month they whine about something and Bungie gets on their knees immediately, it's pathetic "uhh divinity too good even though it's been out for 2 years" - bye "derp Citans too strong all the sudden but they've been there for 3 years" - gone "DMT too strong" - gutted -- "DMT too bad now" - buffed -- "DMT too OP now" -- gtfo "jade rabbit is too accurate for a scout" - nerfed "i don't like having health" - ok nerfed "that warlock reload exotic is unfair because they can reload fast even though we have mods for that too" - probably coming next season pathetic
-
What did I miss? If someone complained about that I would just laugh and mute 🤣
-
1 RespuestaBecause they'll just punish you by scaling up the enemies damage. So you dont build it and get wrecked. They literally do stupid stuff like that all the time.

Resilience isn't too powerful because 40%, it is the only stat that matters because the other 2 don't do anything in pve. Think about it, recovery only takes 3 seconds off from fully healing. In pvp that matters, in pve it is utterly meaningless. Only warlocks should care about it at all for rift cooldown. Mobility is just as useless, because in pve you are never (if your good) not going to be sprinting when moving while not ads. Only hunters should care for cooldown, which is also so low and with other better ways to lower that it hardly even matters for them. The simple fact is that even if you nerf resilience all the way down to something like 5% at t10 it would still be the only pve stat that matters. We need recovery and mobility to do something meaningful in pve not to nerf resilience.
-
I was running 100 resilience before it was cool. I don’t care what the DR is, my Titan shall always be capable of reaching close to 200 Res with mods. I am the thicccest crayon eater. Fight me.

There exist ppl that consider themselves the peak of destiny community because they follow a guy who lies about having 3 world firsts for so long he actually believed it himself It's a disease, one day someone said something everyone agrees with on twitch all of a sudden his audience think he's a genius, next thing you know they spread the complaint of their mastermind like it's their own idea
-
10% is negligible in this game. Almost all stats are. Destiny might be the most egregious example of diminishing returns. Play thousands of hours to make gain marginal gains. You can't feel min/maxing in this game. It's not deep enough.

5 RespuestasEditado por Sohsuh: 1/24/2023 3:19:00 PMBecause having a constant 40% damage resist is a trash system that makes us grossly overpowered. It turns the content into a pathetic joke. It's like hey here's a safety blanket for players who are unable to stay alive! We never used to have it and it was fine. In fact we had Protective Light before that gave 50% damage resist, but only when you were charged with light and it would disappear the second you took a bit of damage, and Bungie said that was too OP. Now we have permanent 40% DR without having to do anything. It's a joke. People who think resilience is fine in its current state NEVER did Lightblade during season 16. The game being more difficult is more rewarding and you get more satisfaction out of completing the content. Right now you can turn your brain off and complete all the content. It's not fun. There's plenty of easy content in the game, so they don't need to add some massive damage boost to make the more difficult content easier. We need to go back to when Destiny content was actually somewhat challenging. I am happy to see them start to go back in that direction with these changes.

Editado por Obscure Meme: 1/24/2023 12:54:24 PMYeah I'm not so sure about this nerf, for years resilience was a meme stat. It took several changes to make it worthwhile. I'm sure it won't affect much in the long run and 10% is rather insignificant when it will still tank a third of damage, and it's not like I won't be running 100 on titan due to the barrier tie in which is also getting nerfed and the idea of bubble being garbage without 100 res, but I don't really think it was that problematic. Titans don't have invis for losing aggro, not many CC abilities like child of the old gods or arc souls, so the frontal assault being the most tanky made sense to me in PVE.

10 RespuestasEditado por xbroggiex: 1/24/2023 8:37:41 AM"40% DR with 100% uptime with no cost is not overpowered!!!!" lmao, still 30% seems about right for T10 rather than 40%. Its only 10% dunno why everyone is crying about it.
-
I think it is overpowered a little. Certainly not complaining though and I don’t care if it stays the same or gets nerfed.
-
Because it is. I've always felt giving an additional 40% was too much. I played a couple of GMs this weekend, also on my Titan. And I never play Titan. I got through, dying maybe once and then I realised I didn't have any damage reduction modes on.... If you can breeze through something that's supposed to be moderately hard without even preparing for it then it's a sign that something needs to be toned down.
