A single shot doesn't cover the entire zone which means you can still capture a zone if it's on it the only difference is you have less room. Even if it's in the middle you can still stand at the edge and capture. The only strength Witherhoard has atm is 1. Killing Bubble Titan's 2. Killing Well users 3. Slightly blocking lanes (You can still jump over it or in some maps go around it)

Not the entire zone you can actually stand slightly outside and it'll still capture it.
