Well, according to Bungie and if I'm correct Cozmo stated that they are the community leaders 🤷♂️
I think it's BS because most of them have helped Bungie ruin Destiny.

Could you give an example of a streamer that affected in a negative way?

Destiny Content Vaulting, Sunsetting, the Seasonal Model, Pinnacle Grind etc. these were all Ideas from the Streamers and Content Creators. I remember SayNoToRage when he was playing Destiny was advocating for these things I listed, along with KackisHD, Datto etc. etc. These Ideas made Destiny into a full time job like a mobile game and people don’t play console games for a mobile game experience. I played Galaxy of Heroes for the longest time, and I gave up cause it was BEYOND grind, it was a job and games should not be that way.

If you think Destiny 2 is a job you have a lot of problems to solve in your live. You can have fun in so many ways in the game. From Rading to simple shooting targets in patrol. If you are unwilling to spend more than 2h on the game in a week, you are not understanding what makes the game actually fun.

I bet you have no relationships, no friendships outside the digital world, bet you have no job, no house, contribute nothing to your real life community etc. get a life man. Stop hating on Dad Gamers for having a life outside of video games.

Stop hating on Dad Gamers for having a life outside of video games
I have a job. I have a life. I have friends IRL that I do meet in person occasionally (unless we play Destiny together). I am working on getting a relationship going right now and my job is contributing to people being able to watch movies in cinemas... So to prove you wrong, no it isn't impossible. Also, read again. 2h per week is totally doable for literally every single person unless you live in a super poor country with wrecked economy... I play 2h+ daily Destiny 2 and I am still able to manage all of that AND watch my friends baby kittens at the same time... Maybe you need to work on your work moralities.

Lol good one

Streamers are the reason SBMM got removed in 2020.
-
Do you have proof of that. This is not bait or trying to provoke you or anything. I sincerely want to find a correlation of those cases. Someone already mentioned one about the longer revives on D1 and I am looking into it. So...do you have more information aboit what you mentioned? Maybe the name lf the streamer perhaps?
-
Sweatlord streamers whined about wanting SBMM forever and then Bungie finally relented. And then Bungie admitted later that it only benefitted the hardcore pvp players. Notice how right now it's only streamers whining about SBMM. If you want one example, go look at Aztecross
-
Aztecross...ok. Anything in particular I should look at?

Thanks 👍👍👍. Much appreciated.

Longer revives. Happened back in d1 and Carries to this day. Was a direct result of a yt/streamer.
-
Ia there any direct correlation to that? Anyway to prove it? I am not asking for a dev to come and admit: "Yeah, we thought (insert streamer name) idea was good" But any other way to prove that?
-
Yeah, they got featured back when they nerfed it. The dialogue in the interview between bungie and yt’er talking about they were a reason they looked into it. Ultimately changing the revive Then the yr’er even had a video taking credit for it. Everyone knows they have A LOT influence on the game. Idk know why people act like they don’t.

I can not speak for others, but in my case, I am asking purely because of ignorance. I am a relative new player, one year as of last week and the only real problem I have heard about a ytber, was the one that he send copyrights pretending to be bingia. Other than that, I have no idea. Even worse, the one you mentioned is from.D1, way before my time in the franchise. So, thanks for that example.

Fair enough No problem

Editado por TheShadow: 9/14/2022 11:29:21 PM
Could you give an example of a streamer that affected in a negative way?
I'm wondering if this is bait, but I'll play along. Since masterwork cores were changed to enhancement cores that were because of streamers that never "needed" to be changed, and them complaining about how things are too easy, since then the game has turned for the worst... With the grind Padded playtime The "RNG", etc... Oh, and if they get their way with this crying about Divinity because players really don't need them to run anything in this game. That will be another thing to add to the mile-long list of things that they have negatively affected the game. Edit: The thing that bothers me the most about streamers complaining that things are "too easy". It's that they have the balls to even claim this knowing a lot of them do account recoveries.
-
Sorry for my ignorance. Account recoveries? What is that? Is it giving your account to a pvp pri, so he plays on your account and upgrade your K/D or something like that? It was no bait, I am asking based on pure ignorance. Other than the copyright abuse by an angry streamer, I do not know of any other problems caused by streamers. I can not argue without knowing the story, so...I thought this would be a good chance to ask about that.
-
It would be better for you to look it up to find out what it actually offers certain players. Overall it's when a player has access to another players character.

How has nobody in this thread mentioned sunsetting? lol
