The community is very toxic
Obviously there will always be toxic angry people playing video games as their outlet but when ,and I’m talking more pvp here, the mass community is either complaining or hating on each other I just ask why? Like beyond “it’s just life” perspective I truly believe that bungie is completely neglecting pvp and aspects of pve that would make things more enjoyable for all players. To me seeing an increase of toxicity in any community means that there is problem with the system not the people. Very basic changes could be made to pvp that would make the world of a difference but I understand basic doesn’t mean easy to implement. Personally I just want to hear bungie say “we see the issues with pvp and we’re working on it” communication is really all we can ask for

yes, if pvp were more enjoyable and accessible to more players then the toxicity would decrease, if only slightly.

When meeting random people online, I find that most are nice and friendly. When I join a fireteam, I find a team with a friendly and welcoming post, they tend to be friendly and welcoming. If you're talking about the forums, it's easy to troll when you're hiding behind your screen and keyboard. Welcome to the internet, maybe stay away if you're sensitive to trolling?
