Back in the day, way back, when Destiny used to be on ps3 and xbox 360, we had such little vault space due to the "technical limitations". When Destiny moved to ps4 and xbox 1 we got an upgraded vault because the consoles could handle more. Now that the game is about to make a leap in console generation again, I don't see why another increase to vault space isn't possible. The transmog system helped alleviate at least some stress on vault storage but it's still only a matter of time before people want/need more space again and the release of WQ wouldve been the perfect time. And its always better to have more space and not need it than to not have that space at all.
And while we're on the topic of new consoles, we should really have some sort of replay viewer by now. Games like GTA, Super Smash, and Fortnite (among many others) have these and have had them for years so I know theyre within the realms of technical possibilities, and they do wonders for content creators to make cool cinematic pieces or funny videos and montages and stuff. Bungie gives a lot of attention to its community with MOTW and stuff like that so surely adding in the ability to save and replay a strike or a crucible game or maybe just 20 minutes of gameplay while manipulating the camera and other various settings would be a huge step forward for those kinds of creators.

1 RespuestaLearn to use the delete button. There is plenty of vault space.

Editado por Joulevette12: 5/13/2022 8:52:44 PMI would agree that vault space is a issue now and is every season due to buffs and nerfs with weapons being cycle out even paul tassi just made a vid on this issue What they need to do and should have did is added some legacy unsunset weapons to the crafting system ppl will gladly delete them if it was craftable and do that every season Add one previous seasonal set weapons from season 10 to 14 each season to crafting Just only throwing new weapons in crafting just making our vault even worst with nothing changing

5 RespuestasWe have 500 slots, the collections exist for the exotic weapons and ritual weapons. I can barely take up 50 slots, how the heck are you guys cluttering the vault? Get rid of the trash man
-
I'd love more vault space. I'm a bit of a hoarder, admittedly. I like keeping 1 of everything. The armour transmog cleared up a LOT of space on it's own, now there needs to be some way to condense weapons. Weapon crafting -could- have been a good way to do so, but it just ended up being a gigantic vault-clogging grind fest as people held on to deepsight weapons for a time when they could load up Shuro Chi or Altars of Sorrow to grind the mats out. I don't need 500 slots -yet-, but I do hit that limit after a few weeks of holding weapons for "Maybe this one is better than the other one I have" situations. Sometimes they are, often they aren't, but the vault can get stacked up fast. And I can't imagine how much worse it is for players who don't take the time to compare or practice with different rolls to find what works best for them either.

Editado por AmethystRhino: 5/13/2022 3:45:08 AMBump way up! Every new season we should get a little more space why not? Great post
-
7 RespuestasI think we need to start asking "Can we get more vault space or a reason as to why we can't?".
-
While I may not need more Vault Space, I'd say that Bungie has no valid reason to not increase the stack sizes for upgrade resources. Nobody should have to wager prisms or shards in their Postmaster because they have no room in storage.
-
Editado por Emurinus: 5/13/2022 12:15:27 AMI don't see a problem with a little more vault space, but overall, most people aren't going to use anywhere near 80% of their max vault space consistently enough to warrant more than maybe 150-200 more spaces. Personally, I'd rather Bungie take a week or two just to fix the horrid organization vaults have now, and maybe make our vaults more accessible in general rather than needing to rely on third party sites to accomplish the same thing.

When the red bordered weapons started I thought it was a great idea. Reality then hit and my vault now is constantly full as I can't clear the "reds" as fast as I receive them. Crafting was supposed to alleviate some of the vault pain. It's done the opposite. We need bigger vaults!

Coming up to four years now with no new space. Current Vault space and sorting options, lack of item marking, not to mention the significant increase of buildcrafting without any sign of any in-game Loadouts, is all not fit for purpose. Interesting to note that Ubisoft's Division 2 are interested and investigating new innovations for that game's storage. You essentially need a Vault 2. A deep Vault. The second database gets around the burden of the loadtime. Will Bungie do it or lag behind years later, as they have done with Transmog (without any Saved Appearances), Crafting (without any upgrading existing or dropped gear), Targetable loot, last-gen FoV, reticle changes, dead zone settings, vertical sensitivity, etc., etc.

3 RespuestasEveryone who argues against more vault space is either not playing this game or so desperate to be on Bungie’s side that they will literally tell you the earth is flat in a misguided attempt to be liked by some imaginary group of people -blam!- this and digitally pads them on the shoulder for being a good fanboy.
-
Stop hoarding bro. If you haven’t used it in 3 months scrap it
-
1 RespuestaThis generation isn't like the last upgrade, you could easily buy PS4s about Xones in any store, but 5s and Series X are still elusive and hard to buy without paying double price on Ebay, so last gen remains the majority and will for the foreseeable future, so Bungie cant afford to leave them behind yet

More vault space would be good. The catch- when I look at my vault half of it is known trash where I'm just trying to save "the best" roll. Probably the case for many players. A buddy showed me his vault on his phone a while back and I was shocked by the amount of sunset items he was holding on to. Why? Nostalgia? It serves no purpose anymore. So I think no matter how much space they give players there are those who do not manage their drops/vault, BUT I still think a bump up would benefit everyone- especially with an increased amount of armor exotics and random roll weapon exotics in the game now which didn't exist in Foresaken.

2 RespuestasAfter all this time, Destiny's inventory management is still archaic. It was already outdated when D1 released, and it has barely changed since then, it's well overdue for a huge overhaul...
-
3 RespuestasJust let people pay for more vault space, the people who don’t need it don’t have to buy some
-
I wonder if unlocking vault space from completing end game activities or seals /badges would be something they’d consider.
-
2 RespuestasNo... But here what should be done. .since we have the collection Tab , Not many guns can be brought out (Sunset BS!) So here's what should be allowed. When you get for example Gun #1 it is automatically now unlocked in Collections at a Pre determined Roll like currently is happening. Now here's the new action we should be able to do... When you take that Gun 1 and say it has better Roll than what is in the collections, you should be able to dismantle the gun and a Pop up will appear and say Dismantle or Replace in collections. Selecting Replace with now add that Roll to the collections. You WILL LOSE any progress for that gun however. (No Saving Master worked equipment) And then you just pay normal to remove the gun when ever you want to with the downside of having to MW it again. I think this will reduce the Vault clutter many have and increas the collection usage. Just make sure not to over write a saved piece. Unless add a Lock Ability to not let that happen in the collections page.
-
2 Respuestasyou want more vault space? sorry but that's part of the vault space dlc . that will be 99 dollars please .
-
I wouldn't mind more vault space or they could rework weapon crafting so that once you unlock a perk it permanently unlocked for that gun. This way you could delete it and recraft it without spending hours grinding. Also you should be able to save roll that can be pulled from collections. If they did both of these I could easily delete most of my vault.
-
1 RespuestaWe don’t need more vault space. You don’t need to have 4 elements of archetype of every gun in the game. Stop hoarding lmao.
-
9 RespuestasWill never understand how you people need more vault space. I have tons of hours in the game and use less than 200 slots.
-
24 RespuestasYou have 500 slots. You don't need more than that. Stop hoarding gear and you will have plenty of space.
-
1 RespuestaWhy??? Bungie has already doubled the vault space from when D2 was released. It now has more storage than most RPGs and even some MMOs. If Bungie did increase the space again (and no game has infinite storage space) how long until you come asking for more??? It's time for you to learn some item management skills.
-
Hold the delete button on all old items and there will be more room on the vault for you.
-
But... But... Where else am I going to keep my sunsetted weapons that haven't seen the light of day since 2018?
