I can’t seem to move normally on anything that moves, the boat in the light blade strike, the car in the preservation mission, etc. I’ll randomly just get stuck and I won’t be able to move until I jump.

For me the boat keeps jerking forward and back. I've been aiming my bow and it moves out from under me and I die. First time I thought another player pushed me off. Turned out it was just the Bungle struggling with the basics again.
-
It's just another stupid Bungo way of adding unnecessary difficulty to content.

1 RespuestaIt's a shame how many games can't get this right. You can see what they're trying to do, but so many developers can't get people on a moving object right. And I'm sure it's difficult to program right.
-
1 RespuestaSo a trick if your movements speed is high enough (for jump height/distance). You can actually jump to different sections and never need to ride the boat

The ferry needs rework. During one run yesterday my entire team of randoms died. We were stuck on a platform as we watched the ferry move onward without any of us.
-
Don't crouch on the platform.. idk why it does that but anytime I'm crouching it feels like I'm trying to fight out of a stasis attack
-
Okay I thought I managed to get stuck on the front prongs at one point glad to see it's not just me
-
Try throwing an ice wall in front of your teammates. Thanks me later

3 RespuestasTry limiting your FPS. I had a friend who had this on the elevator in arms dealer and when he capped his fps it stopped
-
Just dont crouch

Thought my controller was getting bad again lol

2 RespuestasEditado por BrujaMalvada: 5/7/2022 5:53:55 PMYeah, I can't tell if Bungo is inept at relative movement handling (X, Y, and Z are too much for them), or if they added that "feature" as yet another way to bone us up the *ss and get us killed. It's been that way for a while - the last elevator in Arms Dealer has the same issue.
-
2 RespuestasI'm so glad to hear others have this issue, I thought I was just doing something weird on the boat. And then i thought it was only during the part where you go through the waterfall and it was to make it more realistic or something haha. But nope it can happen at any time. Super annoying to be walking around fine and then randomly get stuck on nothing. Something I just thought of while typing this- maybe jumping as soon as you notice it happening "resets" your movement when you land? I'll have to try it.

10 RespuestasEditado por Sohsuh: 5/7/2022 6:06:05 PMThey did this on purpose. You'll notice the same thing on the Arms Dealer elevator, which was clearly added since we were always able to move perfectly fine before. It's to make it artificially difficult while you're being shot at by enemies. These are the changes that just make me scratch my head. Out of everything they can add to the game, they add stuff like this, and even change old strikes. Like why? Jumping is the best way to move around faster.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one who has encountered this behavior. Nothing more frustrating than dying during the boat portion because your character became stuck.
