Let's say bungie's new game looks really cool. But knowing what U and I know now about destiny.... Are you going to really buy it?
I don't know it's probably not a good idea

If it gets my attention? Sure, why not. Its how i got into hollow knight. And this decision making process has only failed me once. And no, it wasnt with destiny.

7 RespuestasI now wish I had an XBox instead of a PS5 so I could play halo instead.
-
No I’m starting to drop gaming altogether and work on my drawing
-
Big fat........ No 5000+hrs played and I know enough not to bother again f u bungo 🙄😁

Most video game companies are struggle just to release a finished game . It’s kind of the norm now. Look at vanguard …total mess and cod is a huge global game ….even they can’t get it right 🤷🏼♂️
-
2 RespuestasWhy not buy it? It is a game. Go in. Shot aliens. Blow -blam!- up.

I've spent less money playing Destiny than I have trying to kill time with other random AAA titles. The value is there but that doesn't mean there aren't low points within the franchise. I left for what I thought would be for good when D2 launched and of course here I am again. The franchise won't last forever though and I often wonder if time will kill this game or if the next big thing will come along.

Editado por DredLaP: 11/21/2021 5:52:54 PMAdding my 3 accts, i have over 12k hours into destiny. Thats a tough question, Im not sure of I would. Ive thought about moving on several times, but its tough to leave something you are so invested in. I often wonder if thats a small reason why we arent getting a d3. I think many would jump ship if having to start over. I do think with JOE in control now, the game is about to get better. But, I also fear its about to get much more difficult though, chasing away more our friends. I have so many friends who love the game and the story, but dont play any more. They cant keep up with the game in a meaningful way. My son is an mazing player, but he is in HS and cant afford the time sink to keep up. He plays only when his friends need a flawless finish. They will get to 5 or six wins and he will help them get finish the card. I asked him if he goes flawless too. Nope, i just help my friends. Thats pretty sad and telling of the game history. Its a game full of people who still play the game, many because its tough to move on from and then a bunch of new players. The old players are tired and jaded. The new players love the game at first. Hopefully things change.

Probably not honestly 😆 I’m too far in now though
-
Over 4000 hours played between D1 and D2, some of the best gaming memories and making a bunch of new friendships - yeah, I’d do it all again.
-
Lol no. I've been saying this since the first whisperings of them making a new project. Who cares about that when this one has been such a convoluted mess that never got close to it's own potential? The hardcore, the addicts, we've all invested so much time and money into the game that we'll keep doing so, but jump into a fresh franchise? Nah. That's just one more thing they messed up this game with, by shifting dev focus over there. F that.
-
Yes. I actually play Destiny. I've gotten my money's worth and then some - I can't say that for ANY other game out there.
-
I'll never buy another Bungie game again. Absolutely no way.

5 RespuestasYes, without a shadow of a doubt. The past 7 years have had their ups and downs but all in all, it has all been worth it. Yes, the game is not perfect for some. But show me a game that is? For me, I have maybe once-in-a-blue moon issues, I stick with the same characters from D1. I swear when you start deleting them you start getting problems. So I will stick with it until the end.
-
Nope, they have burned their bridges just like Activision did with Cod and E.A are on their way of doing with BF2042 There are other developers out there that deserves a chance!
-
Why wouldn't it be a good idea?
Let's say bungie's new game looks really cool. But knowing what U and I know now about destiny.... Are you going to really buy it? I'm playing other games now and it's been liberating from the hamster wheel. So good. Happy camper.

1 RespuestaI’m no longer buying anything from Bungie Destiny related. I’ll keep playing, but I’ll miss out on gjallerhorn even though I had it twice before.

Editado por EnthusiasticRobot: 11/21/2021 12:54:11 AMHonestly, I wish I picked up something other than Destiny 2 back in 2017. This game is exhausting. Edit: I misread your question. I’m not touching Bungie’s new IP—there’s no way in hell I’m falling for that again. Edit 2: Actually it looks like I read it right the first time. Regardless, I stand by what I said.

Editado por DOGE: 11/21/2021 2:50:32 AMNot likely. Started with new light and now i know bungie has no plan or direction with this game they just throwing random stuff at people to see how we react.. never seen so many changes to weapons and armor in such a short time You grind your -blam!- off for that cool weapon then it gets nerfed every season until its trash and you have to grind for next weapon and repeat the cycle... In addition to bungie using the platform to promote their personal beliefs and views... I do not support anyone using their business platform to promote their personal or political views.. do it from your own personal position not through the platform people paid for...

2 RespuestasEditado por mikeyrox1234: 11/20/2021 4:52:16 PMEdit: I thought this post was going somewhere else. Bungie a new game? Probably not BUT not because it’s a Bungie game. Probably because I’m getting tired of video games in general and would rather just play single player games now or party style games. Only reason I’m sticking with Destiny now is because I was there at the beginning and I’m going to be here at the end.
-
I’ll wait and see what the new game is and make a decision then. Destiny won’t even come into the equation for me.
-
Nope, wouldn’t even consider it. I truly enjoy this game and am too invested to quit destiny but if this is the way bungie treats their players, I won’t even consider it

3 Respuestasyeah cause this game rocks, say what you want but i know for a damn well fact you probably have all your characters at 1330+ because you love the game so much, i'd also make sure to hold onto any rare items so i can brag about it in the future
