Grammar was good, just some minor punctuation. You're smarter than you're giving yourself credit for.
I agree with you whole heartedly though. If a developer like Bungie is trying to get a bigger playerbase, it is very clear the option is no lockouts. Given most of this game revolves around multiplayer, it makes no sense to block out any players from any activity minus light level requirements. That's literally it. Add that people have paid good money for a product; it should be common sense, and practice to open everything for matchmaking. If I paid money, blocking me out is just spitting in my face as a customer, and personally, I find their resolve to be pretty insulting to the playerbase. It feels like they just want the money; but I'm trying not to be cynical😂. Its hard.
Bungie has always had this weird obsession with gates behind other gates, and I don't know why. They opened Trials up. That in itself shows, to me that every activity, minus raids, can function just fine with matchmaking in place. Will there still be issues? Yes. Always. Despite Trials issues though, I've still been able to reset my rank once, and coming up on number two soon. This tells me its functioning fine itself. So the reason for this? I don't know, but it doesn't make any sense.

Trials didn't have MM because its rewards system was geared towards teams not individual players. These changes went hand in hand.
