Mouse and Keyboard has much more precision than controller. Turn off aim assist on both and MnK wins everytime.
Input-Based matchmaking would most definitely be a welcome change.

Precision? Have you actually played with how massive the hit boxes are? You can try to miss and still hit someone
-
It doesn't matter how huge the hitboxes are. It's a thumb vs an entire arm.
-
The argument is about precision. You can be far more precise with a mouse but it’s irrelevant when the hit boxes are as large as they are because you don’t need to be precise
-
Doesn't invalid the advantages Mice have over controller. It's just icing on the cake.
-
Funny that pro apex players are saying controllers are too easy then isn’t it since that advantage between inputs is just so massive
-
Those are PRO players. They might not have any issue with playing against controller players but the fact still remains that mice are the superior input by design. Like I said, it's the thumb vs an arm.

Editado por Skullshot: 9/29/2021 10:23:41 PMIt being the better method isn’t the same as it having a colossal advantage in destiny. I’ve played a lot with both, aside from sliding to disengage and sniping there’s not really an advantage in this game, it just doesn’t play in a way nor is it built in a way where there’s a big advantage but even for those who feel there is they left cross play options completely in the hands of console players But my whole point with the post you clearly didn’t read was they are having issues with controller players because there isn’t a big difference. The days of elitism on that probably came from games where it is a massive advantage like CS but destiny isn’t built that way where precision matters

It's the fact that it isn't remotely true or relevant. Elitism has nothing to do with anything I'm talking about. I've played many games on mouse and keyboard and I'm saying it's a night and day difference. I played CS: Source until I got carpal tunnel in my hand so I'd know this. Mouse and Keyboard in the hands of a very good player makes playing against said player much more difficult on controller. This isn't a situation of "Hey, maybe you're just not trying hard enough." There's actual articles on this subject.

That line of mnk being the better input is true but games aren’t made how they were years ago. Games are merging communities now and it’s in the best interest of the devs if there isn’t a this one is objectively better or grants unfair advantages. Hit boxes are the example I’m sticking to for destiny because accuracy is the common mnk is better thing which yeah true in cs or valorant but this game isn’t one that takes aim skill. The skill curve is largely from everything but aim because of how easy they’ve made aiming and movement isn’t that different and positioning/cool down usage isn’t input reliant. The argument is dated which is why mnk pros literally complain controller is to good now because it’s expected to be true but just isn’t and that’s in a game that has actual aim skill

It's just a bunch of pros complaining about not being able to keep up now that their wrists start hurting from all that swiping and clicking. Gaming too much will -blam!- your aim. That's what they don't get. Gaming in moderation is an actual thing to consider. If the hitboxes are so big, they shouldn't be having this much trouble keeping up. All these different gaming mice and gaming software and they can't keep up with a controller? I don't buy that.
