Countless builds I use had to be tossed out or reorganized with less power than before.
Wouldn’t it have been enough to just make it so you can only put ONE scavenger on rather than doing that AND increasing the price of energy on mods?

I think most of the "Cost" sucks in this game! If i'm lucky i have managed to masterwork all my current worn armour before it's time to hit the graveyard! I think i'll have deleted the game before tho, it's pretty close by now! Deleted about 100 weapons, armours and god rolls last week! Why?, 1. i don't use them. 2. Ugly as fkk!
-
What’s worse is that I don’t think it works.
-
I literally never used scavenger since armor 2.0 because i was always forced to use traction/recuperation (except pvp) so the expensive cost just keeps my loadout the same as before.
-
They always double down on nerfs. They still haven’t learned that they should only nerf ONE aspect at a time, if they should actually nerf anything at all.
-
17 RespuestasThey made holster mods which I can't equip because scavenger is so damn expensive 🤣 it's dumb
-
Smarter decisions on what you truly need is the answer here.

20 RespuestasYour build is not ruined. This is an overreaction. I am willing to bet alot of players here ran double scavenger mods to take advantage of special weapon pickups. With the new system now, they buffed finders an nerfed scavengers a small bit. This has been done because all he PVP players complained shotgun scavengers were dominating crucible.

We need more mod slots.

5 RespuestasEditado por BoomerSooner51: 8/31/2021 5:09:18 PMI want to know why primary ammo bricks are still dropping from kills since Bungo moved to infinite ammo for those weapons.
-
There’s no way to work them into builds, now, honestly. If not for the seasonal fusion rifle one, I would have no other way of using another without sacrificing things I deem necessary. It doesn’t matter as much in PvP, but I’m REALLY missing it in PvE.

Editado por Dray: 8/30/2021 10:56:27 PMDouble stacking mods is making the game a lot easier and while promotes the power fantasy it's a bit much, I honestly dont have that much of an issue tbh, in most cases it was a no brainer so it will make people change up a bit, not much, but a bit, and if I'm honest I've not noticed a big difference, slightly less ammo on the brick pickups but I'm not running out of heavy ammo constantly, infact the only time I notice my heavy ammo drops being bad is in Prophecy, which was bad before the changes. I'd like to see proper armour sets that give you a bonus and then build and boost that bonus with more pieces worn, atm there is no reason to wear a full set of any armour except raid armour, and tbh do we really need the raid mods to get it done, not really, so it's an option but not even close to being essential. Maybe sets that provide bonus in legendary lost sectors, sets for NF, and another look at gambit sets, though the gambit sets is another reason why I think it's too tricky to do with the game as it is, I don't think the gambit sets ever worked properly, not 100% sure as the Breakneck grind killed gambit for me and I never bothered with it except for my pinnacle runs, once I hit powr cap I stay away unless theres a weapon roll I desparately need. I don't know how hard it would be to do but I'm guessing that the engine might struggle, not based on any real knowledge of coding but things like the way the inventory works and how we delete materials is hardly top tier quality of life stuff.

I just dropped the charged with light builds in PvP so I can still use my recov/mobility mods.... it sucks but I’d rather have the scav mods. Not really sure why they upped the cost along with eliminating stacking them... honestly stacking them was the issue so why the increase?? No one knows
-
You can increase your stats, have a charged with light build, a warmind cell build, picking up orbs mod, have scavs. Pick only 2. I’ll run special finisher or aeons for more ammo and just keep my builds.

7 RespuestasIt’s simple. We’ve been conditioning into being forced to use special weapons as our primary weapon for years. Bungie is tired of it along with many players like I for example. It’s a perfectly fine change, and realistically should cost 6+ energy IMO. I’m just glad they did something to combat how bad the ammo economy is currently.
-
14 Respuestasno, good. you shouldnt be using your special weapon constantly. use your primary.
-
Good. Scav mods are powerful and now traction isn’t a thing so they needed the nerf to energy costs. Good valve change to stop us from being able to use everything we want on our boots
-
Learn how to use a primary
-
If you don’t have the ammo finder it’s all nerfs. A lot of people say to just put on an ammo finder. However I started back in the beginning of July after quitting in year 1 and the only ammo finders I have are auto rifle scout rifle and bow. All useless with unlimited primary. Last 2 strikes I did the only ammo I saw was off the final boss which is a total joke. Scavengers don’t matter if you don’t get any ammo to start with. This feels like a slightly modified year 1.

17 RespuestasEditado por Hawpy: 8/30/2021 4:46:58 PMAnyone who thought Shotgun Scavenger costing 2 was fine is out of their mind. Scavenger mods got nerfed but Ammo Finder mods got buffed. That seems like a fair trade-off to me.
-
The ppl here that are defending this change are the same ones that never use their heavy until the boss and struggle to get after a damage phase. Yes these mods don’t stack anymore but that’s not the point. The point is that I can’t run one scavenger for my special and one scavenger for my heavy.
-
6 RespuestasSee the thing is, scav mods dont stack anymore. So not only did they make them not stack, they jacked the price up.
-
9 RespuestasI think they need to remove how many slot requirements for all mods and just let us mod w.e . I know theres alot that will disagree, but the limit they always have on things need to be loose. Let us use the mods and take away the bar that shows how many slots you have left. We only have a few slots anyways so let us have fun with it.
-
1 RespuestaUm, this is actually problematic and literally not ok
-
I can understand raising the cost, some of them were cheap. But they went overboard. They should have been increased by 1 instead of two.

1 RespuestaYou scavenge what the artifact tells you to scavenge. You are just a tool/input device for the artifact to express itself in combat.
