I don’t know what has gotten everyone’s sights on hunter mains again so badly; but some of y’all clearly aren’t reading up on the RDM situation. Almost everyone I’ve talked to (that’s a hunter main) thinks it’s insanely Op and broken. Sure there are gonna be a few bad apples here and there; but that applies everywhere. I seriously don’t get why the hunters are always the scapegoats of the community. This whole situation has really exposed just how toxic most of you are and can be capable of. There’s no need for all that salt in the forum, that’s what eggs are for.
EDIT: This post was made in response to all the people getting insanely toxic towards hunters due to a few who defend the RDM’s. I didn’t expect nor want this to start debates. Simply just wanted to shed some light on the whole thing is all.

9 RespuestasThey are defending it though, almost all the hunters say "its dynamo not the exotic" as if dodges don't freeze, give invis, reload your weapon procing kill clip, return dodge energy, breaks tracking.
-
I've seen numerous hunter mains defend them.
-
5 RespuestasLooking at children on the forums say "hunter mains cry ", "warlock mains cry", "titan mains cry".... its ultra cringe. Especially when hunters defending shatterdive isn't ridiculous, warlocks defending chaos, titans defending OEM before nerf or behemoth before nerf . It's incredibly doooshhy watching yall bicker about non sense.
-
6 RespuestasBungies lack of testing is the only reason they’re getting used. Once a fix is out they’ll be another useless exotic.
-
20 RespuestasHunters are just the crybabies playing victim all the time. They’re also the FIRST to cry about anything good about any other class.
-
My problem with rdm is the fact bungie did not see the future with the dymano stacking. Sure it is fun to roll a lot yes, but thanks to you tubers breaking the game AGAIN a fresh new exotic is getting the nerf. Oh well this gives me time to try lucky pants :D
-
I get pvp and gambit but they’re fun as hell in strikes and nightfalls

49 RespuestasI was arguing with like 9 people yesterday about how they're busted, and I was getting told (by hunter mains) that I was wrong and that they're not busted at all. I think you just have the good fortune to meet the few hunter mains that aren't obsessed with pretending to be victims. Every Hunter main I've met has whined and complained about how bad their class is and how awful their exotics are, because they don't want them nerfed, they want them buffed, so they can dominate even harder. Too many Hunter mains think their class is bad, or want others to think their class is bad, so they can just dominate with busted gear. It's ridiculous.
-
They were broken, plain and simple. I love Hunters, but I’m taking a break this season to play my floofy boy. But RDMs were so busted.
-
Hunter may cry about other classes' unbalanced abilities but at the end of the day, they adapt. That's the main difference! To be a Hunter main means to be tactical in combat, to change your playstyle in order to counter one-shot-easy-kill abilities and ADAPT. That's why Hunter class is dominant in PvP, it's all about player's skills (see Pattycakes, BravexHero, Datto). At this point in Destiny 2 and after so many nerfs, Hunters don't rely on their abilities, that's why RDM is not THAT BROKEN. It's the combination of mods. Bungie should nerf Dynamo otherwise they are just going to end up killing another exotic. If you can't kill a Hunter in PvP who is repeatedly dodging in front of you then I have bad news for you. Gambit RDM disable is fair though.
-
I believe the appropriate way of dealing with RDM is to rework or nerf how the exotic interracts with the mods that specifically react from dodges. The exotic perk I find no gripe with and to be honest it's something to challenge the use of Stomp-ee5 finally, but the way Dynamo and other perks such as the stasis aspect is what makes it unfortunately broken. I really hope they take a careful approach to them as to not make them another ruined exotic that would have otherwise been top teir.

idk i played enough comp to get to 5500 before they were disabled and didnt match someone using them once, i then played a few dozen games in a stacked team at 5500 where you match people only using meta and still never saw them, i agree they are in need of fixing because of the dynamo thing but i really dont think being able to dodge around in a circle is good enough to warrant the exotic slot for most people

9 RespuestasAs a d1 beta, demo vet "yes I enjoyed the demo, bite me" and a wayfarer... Here's my stance in the matter, if it's broke? Fix it. When something is broken on ANY class it should be adressed accordingly and not neutered. Unfortunately though, this is the internet and the forums so all we see is OMG X IS SO ANNOYING PLS NERF. JESUS HUNTERS OP, FIX NERF! X CLASS IS TO GOOD, NERF NOW! WHY IS Y CLASS OVERLOOKED?!?! And my personal favourite. Z Class players are bad and should feel bad for using the "easiest class" in the game. Whatever class you play, they all have their strengths and weaknesses... And different playstyles. From the darkness seeking missile titans, the flaming tornado titan or the fish from nemo that loves bubbles... From the flaming thundercat warlocks, medic from Tf2 medic or warlock who channels his inner Goku... To the Support Hunters like me... To the ninja inspired arc staff -blam!-. The golden gun wielding bond villains. We are all unique and equal. This whole class war BS is like the console wars, its not funny and needs to die like the console wars did, because we all grew up and realised it didn't matter what platform you played on... You all enjoyed games.

1 Respuestaall bungie employee players are hunters thats why they make them broken op
-
2 RespuestasProbably gave it to them so they actually get accepted into grandmaster lol
-
2 Respuestasid like them to make it so it grants you your dodge back on kill
-
13 RespuestasNot only should this be nerfed, which it will...but any one using it should have a week's ban for being an insecure weak -blam!-.

1 RespuestaI'm a hunter main and, if im completely honest, I don't care about those boots I really don't like the gameplay loop to actually make them op and I was really expecting something different.
-
I mean, people have defended pre-nerf OEM, HHSN, Shoulder Charge, LH/NF, Auto-Loading meta (PvE), ect
-
1 RespuestaThere is def a need for salt toward the devs. How did they not realize how stupid this would be? Did they test them? (No). Why ha so much berm kicked down the road. Why has it taken more than a year for them to make obvious changes? They consistently release BS, then take too long to fix it, most of the time. All the while other thing that should have been out or addressed sit there. It's always what could have been.

25 RespuestasEditado por boi: 8/28/2021 2:46:59 AMWould you like to explain then, when the forums were FULL of hunters complaining about warlocks Icarus Dash and Chaos Reach?
Edit: Correction, I pointed this out as an example of what OP was making out in this post- Chaos Reach needed fine tuning as a super. Icarus Dash was complained about in the forums, I’ve seen a “horizontal” vs “vertical” mobility comparison post that trended for a while..
Hunters are not the scapegoat of anything. It goes both ways. RDMs are a point of concern when it is nearly game breaking by giving you a super within 60 seconds, it’s not the exotic itself, but more so the mods that can be equipped with it. Personally, I think those abilities should trigger only after the first dodge.

As a Hunter main, I agree. However, instead of trusting Bungie to "fix" something (come on, you really think they'll fix something without breaking everything else?) I have a different idea; Remove exotics and the regular weapon and armor pool from PvP entirely. Don't throw-up in your own mouth just yet, read on. Halo's PvP was popular for a reason (other than proximity chat, the world was fun before everybody got sensitive). If you were good at it, it meant you put the work in to learn the maps and how to use the standardized pool of weapons to coordinate their use to their max benefit. In Destiny, you just have to watch a build tutorial to create the latest "easy button", otherwise known as "the Meta". I went into a private match to test RDM with a couple of friends, it is indeed broken and WILL cause headaches for a lot of people that aren't Hunters. I don't care how OP some of the other builds are, this is just too broken to be allowed. It doesn't matter that I'm not that good at PvP (I'm not, I have a KD of barely 1.4), but my buddy is. He goes flawless in Trials regularly. In his hands the RDM is going to be laughably stupid. He was with me in the private match to demo. You don't have to be next to anybody, just within 17 meters, even on the other side of a wall. In PvE, it's just a great way of solving the bullet-sponge artificial difficulty. In PvP, it's almost spiteful.

Why don't you just go get some, and have some fun for a few weeks? I just got mine yesterday, and it took me about a dozen somewhat challenging runs of a lost sector until I got lucky. That was fun. I did not fully understand how to use them, so was failing miserably trying to use them in pvp and nightfall. Now that I finally set them up right and understand how they work, I have to work for the rest of the week until Tuesday, so I haven't even been able to enjoy them yet. Now that everyone is whining, They'll probably be nerfed by the time I get to try them again. I'm a Titan main. But I had some fun with my Hunter. Everyone can do the same if they want.

5 RespuestasClaims nobody is defending RDM. Proceeds to accept that some people are defending RDM. ??????????????
this post stole my brain cells. Sund halp.
5 RespuestasThey should just ban them from pvp so they can remain fun What a mess
