My only criticism is again champions ruin the game. The restricted loadouts and almost always having to run double primary is so lame.

No one is forcing you to use double primary. Not only are there ways to stun champions outside of primary weapons, but you also need to consider that not everyone needs every champion mod. For me personally, I actually like running double primary on something like GM Nightfalls, it allows me to have a short range and long range weapon with plentiful ammo, but you don't need to play like that. For easier content such as Overrides and Expunge missions, I'll sometimes not even run the Champion mods and still be able to destroy them easily. It's funny, people complain about 'artificial difficulty' in the game, but when Bungie introduces Champions as a way to introduce difficulty through mechanics to kill them, everyone complains...

Every single shot is an overload shot, which allows for constant pressure on champs. Monarque is able to completely stunlock and murder a champion because of its poison, completely stopping it from healing even when not shooting. Monarque and Ticuus Divination are also high damage, which makes dealing with adds a breeze. Now, with the recent buff to rocket launchers, it makes for some very deadly build options.
