Do any of the developers play this crap? Stop with the hype train of what is coming how about fix this monstrosity of matchmaking. Laziness or incompetences my god.

2 RespuestasWhile I 200% agree the problem at the moment is just player population. There is almost no chance of not getting a stacked match cos the super dedicated still play and with matchmaking so busted it works against the average player more often than not. So you get stomped and once again swear off pvp but the gunplay eventually draws you back. If you need proof, look up names on teams that beat you with destiny tracker and view matches: 9 out of 10 games will have at least 80% (I've played 95%) in the winners favor. You can't compete, bad experience every time. More people, more skill variation and better for matchmaking, tho I still think the algorithm needs a lot of work to balance teams to reduce those 'chance of winning' odds

8 RespuestasEditado por blairwitch749: 8/7/2021 3:09:53 PMThey have been tinkering with mm in ib per twabs. It’s actually better than it used to be Everything in ib/crucible boils down to 3 things that give the lower half of the player base a negative experience Sweats pub stomping. Some of this is behavioral/kd farming the other half is that trials is not enough of an outlet for them. There should be seasonal “elite” crucible and iron banner with unique weapons or escalated rewards to give them their own sandbox; especially once cross play is available. Let them have a kiosk or high rolled armor or something to recognize their being good at the game and a day to day outlet to not need to crush new lights in control Way too much tolerance for high ping. People should have to have stable internet to play. They ruin the game for anyone and bungie is too slow to boot them to orbit when they are invulnerable and walking through walls Maps are too small (and stale). All of the current maps should be changed to 4v4 if they aren’t going to make larger maps. This might help with some connection/lag related issues as well and gives them more of an opportunity to balance lobbies

6 stack IB lol... Crazy stuff right there
-
18 RespuestasI wouldn't know. The Crucible has been poison ever since CBMM was forced on everyone, even in Iron Banner.

Editado por Double07: 8/7/2021 9:09:09 PMTrials matchmaking is the worst one set up. There is always a high probability of getting matched with players who already went flawless this week more than twice, and that is the case for players only trying to go for 3 wins. If the developers tried to play trials for 3 wins, and actually cared about their game from a player point of view; they would know how bad it is.

Bungie has not put any real effort into PvP for the past 2 years. There is so much they can do, but they have done nothing significant during this period. Like many others, I will be spending more of my time with Halo Infinite PvP when the game is released.

1 RespuestaHere's a pro tip - don't play Destiny2 PvP.. it's awful and you'll be much better off. Splitgate is fun, other titles are coming out that will be good.. Much better experience. D2 PvE is the only playable thing at this point.

3 RespuestasWe’ve gotta migrate to halo infinite. They don’t do any work any more, as developers everything’s already developed. They’re just pulling old content now, witch queen will parallel taken king prolly, (just think of the name) but content won’t be as strong. This games glory days are over

3 Respuestas
Do any of the developers play this crap? Stop with the hype train of what is coming how about fix this monstrosity of matchmaking. Laziness or incompetences my god.
Im beginning to think its more of server issues/connections. Have you noticed if there typically a team you are playing against, your team loses considerably: lagging our your team. It all seems to be that more than anything. Its just stupid at this point

This group does not know what to do. They need help over at Bungie.

2 RespuestasIf I am not mistaken… Next weeks twab is weapon balancing in the game. It is not matchmaking that is the key issue… It is how claustrophobic the meta is. Yes, the p2p connections and matchmaking are issues, but due to this heavily favored crit damage set up. This effects PvP AND pve due to removing the world loot pool that lets a player hunt for their desired weapons/perks.. instead of getting a non meta weapon and putting it in the vault to have it hopefully finally have a place in PvP down the road. There are literally more weapons than not that you can be shooting a player with that is not even looking at you only to have them realize they are getting shot and to turn and three tap you and move on. This is not rewarding skill… this is abusing a system that rewards a shallow pool of weapons. In a gaming world where mods and cheats are a multi million dollar business that assist players per crit hits.. there is no hope unless bungie recognizes this and bring body damage more in line with crit damage. If bungie wants to save this game.. make this change and then we have an open game, a viable world loot pool grind & most of all a realization that match mmaking is not the issue. Weapon balance is. If a player can go into PvP and kill their intended target that they had a drop on.. everything changes for the better. D1’s formula was far better via crit damage vs body damage. The bad math of this is due to d2’s double primary launch with a high time to kill. Bungie tried fixing things and the only thing they changed was crit damage to try and open up the lane team shooting that existed at the time. Then they did the “go fast update” and everything is out of whack now.

the matchmaking is designed so that its the best kd on one team, less the one on the other and keeps going down. whenever there are 6 stacks, it makes matchmaking go through menopause
-
It sucks really bad. Left to another PvP game because it is horrible. I just pve now.

It's all about balance... I think the devs are just scared. Too scared for a live service game.
-
Mayhem and IB Freelance have been ok this week. Lots of close games and not many mercies. Bungie fixed something.
-
...more like trashmaking
-
So what's the problem? What's new? I'm trying to figure it out

10 RespuestasJust leave the game. Who cares. Its even more of a problem in Iron Banner with SBMM enabled. Don’t put yourself through the terrible matchmaking and frustration. You’re gonna wait almost 10 minutes to find a game that will be one sided. Just leave and find a balanced match.

Editado por Kuzie: 8/7/2021 1:41:17 PMGet it right, this is not incompetence's Bungie know exactly what there doing !! where being drip fed old recycled content to make money until next year. PvP means absolutely nothing to them.. that thread was posted on twitter to do damage control as Halo inf & slipgate are coming in hot..with positive community response matchmaking was a monstrosity long before D2/ Bungie had a chance to fix things and chose to do what they wanted and that's not going to change. as the guys running the show, simply dont give a damn about pvp i have give up believing the lies they come out with, in regard's to pvp
